Never heard the Big O did this before. just listened to the Righteous Brothers version and they are both great! Roys is class and smooth and The Righteous Bros different , but very moving also. Great singers with great lyrics!

There will never be a better song, its just musical perfection. Whatever version, whatever legend singing those sacred lyrics, every time its touch and it always will be by all generations. I cant wait to show this to my children. Nieces and nephews and share many more magical moments with loved ones with this as a soundtrack as i have already. So much emotion, welling up as i type this. Its a shame that it doesn't have a million+ views like modern hits may, but maybe that even makes it better.

I'd never heard this... leave it to Roy to take this most vocally-challenging song, sing it flawlessly, and then sing the final chorus up a 4th in an even higher key.

A superb cover of this great Alex North - Hy Zaret classic. Orbison lends this version a quality unmatched by any other (several of them quite fine in their own right). The arrangement is spot-on. I should like to think that both composers heard this recording; certainly they would have been flattered -- and deeply moved.
