  • I find that the nividia Geforce 9800 runs extremely smooth on these settings

  • I have an e8400 OCd to 3.8 and one evga 9800gt with 6 gigs of ddr2 800mhz ram. But I can't beat this? I know that 8800gt and 9800gt are about same performance wise but even if you have 2 of them in sli I do not see how you can max this game out lol. is AA turned on?

  • core i7 860 and Radeon HD 4670 1GB how well do you think i can run enthusiast?

  • @acefilms2008

The graphic card will hold you back a lot.

  • yea i understand that, thats why i asked...will my core i7 be enough to recover my graphics cards lack of power?

  • @acefilms2008 nice graphics card bottleneck seriosly get atleast GTX280 or ATi 5770 AT LEAST with that cpu

  • @acefilms2008 it will run on enthusiast pretty well especialy with an overlock on cpu and the 4670. only the 4670 512mb ddr3 will run it well. but u cant play at anything higher than 1280x720 and if ur lucky 1440x900....

  • nice vid, bad music xD

  • AA on?

  • I'm sure you've got lots of paypal donations for your youtube video, hahaha, jesus christ.

  • i know thst sad

  • i run thsi game on very high to 40 to 23 fps but i whating to buy a 23 inch monitor for Full HD 1920x1080

  • 8800GT is sexy xD.

  • Comment removed

  • my screen isnt even this big =O

  • if you want to sit on a couch and play a game you can still do that with a pc game controller LOL plus all modern or even 3 gen old cards can be hooked to an svga slot :P since svga can have a 12 to 15 foot long cord i mean wow who needs a console nowadays lol :P plus many games simply rely on a gfx cpu dont matter i have ran crysis smooth on a amd 4200x2 oced 2.7 ghz for a long while before finally upgrading all i did was buy a 9800gtx + for like 200 bucks :P

  • Well my specs be able to play this game on max settings?

    RAM-4GB

    Video Card-GeForce 9800GT

    Processor-Intel 2 Duo 3.16 Ghz

  • yeah. i max mine out on a

    3.06ghz

    3gb of ram

    an 8800m gts

but i had some tweaks, but you can definitely max this out

  • thx

  • don't believe everybody on youtube.

  • i have a problem. when i run the game, it comes in fullscreen but the mouse seems to act out of order. say you want to selcet singleplayer, you have to put the mouse near the bottom right corner. and i had an old solution where i ctrl alt del it but now it comes back as not responding. HELP ME PLZZZZZ!!!!!

  • do alt + enter until you get full screen back

  • can i play on enthusasit at 1400X900 with 8AA and 16AA with gtx 260 core 216 powered by evga 4gb ddr2 10666 320gb hardrive vista 64basic 750w ulta psu and amd II x4 quad 910 2.6ghz with hyperthreading

  • you can play at max settings with highest resoultion if u wnat to core 216 edition of gtx 260 is REALLY powerful + over clock it with riva tuner for some extra fps (5-10 deppens on how good)

and take ur cpu up to 3,2 it wont be so dangerous

  • no, i had a gtx 260 core 216 oc'd and core 2 quad q6600 oc'd at 3.15 and without custom cvars or tweaking you won't get all enthusiast and that high of AA. you're gonna need two of those gtx series cards to run maxed out and maxed out AA. it's nice to know a single gtx 285 can run all enthusiast at 30+ fps but no AA. i usually run 1440x900 all high, 2 of the settings on very high and 4x aa though on gtx 260.

  • Yeah i know what you mean i OCed my two GTX 285's i can run with game onn Ultra High with 16xAA before i without OC them both i could only run it at 4xAA but then again i OCed my quad core to 3.2GHz instead of its factory clocking at 2.6 GHz

  • i've got nvidia 7600 gt and 2.88 GhZ 2 gig RAM and now i want to know what videocard i should buy

  • What resolution? I recommend a radeon 4850 for around 120-130$, or a radeon 4870 for 160-180$.

For nvidia: Gtx 260 for around 175$,

I'm a little weak on nvidia cards right now. But I know with ATI's cheaper cards like the 4850, and 4870, that you get more performance per dollar.

  • im getting the Palit Radeon HD 4870 Sonic Dual Edition at august, now its $237~ , do you think it will have gone down by then?

  • dual edition? you mean 4870x2? or 2 4870s? heh

237$ is a bit pricy for a 4870 these days. If thats an OC edition, you are better off with a radeon 4890 for that price.

  • well my freind is offerning me a geforce 8800 for £60 and i only have a pci-e 1 (not 2) so im not gonna get the full power. do you think it would be better to get the 4890 and upgrade my mother board later?(sorry if u have to convert my prices to dollars :P) oh and im allowed to spend about £100-120 (im getting a corsair 650W TX aswell but that is seperate from the budget)

  • 60 euros is 80$ for me. That's a pretty good deal, maybe I'd go with the 8800 if I was you. I think the Ati radeons 4850 is with par with the geforce 8800, so you will still have decent power. Although what resolution are you planning, and what are your computers specs?

With my Phenom 9600BE 2.3ghz Quad Core with tlb patch turned off, 4Gb kingston hyper x 5-5-5-15 timings memory, 512mb asus amd radeon 4850, sata2 7200RPM HD, I can achieve after overclocking my cpu to 2.4ghz crysis with...

  • its pounds btw and not euros... anyway my monitor is 1440 by 900 i have a AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core processor 5000+ 2.60GHz i think i have a 300W PSU 3GB of RAM (2x 800MHz and 1 x 600 or something) i dunno what speed my HDD is, i currently have a ATi Radion HD 2400 PRO (and btw i bought this comp from dell (insperson 531)) is that enough info? i dont know much about my mother board

  • all I can say is that I recommend a stronger power supply before you upgrade. 550W should be good.

  • im getting a 650W

  • perfect. The extra 100w will gave ya a little more breathing room.

  • playable frame rates. It's been awhile since I played but I think I had somewhere in the 20s most of the time with all the graphic settings set all the way up but AA to 2 or 4x at 1280x1024 resolution. (full screen equivalent to 1440x900) .

I feel my card can get more powerful in the game, but the processor holds me back. (I should of bought the phenom 9900 or 9950 for 40$ more)

  • 4870!! 150-200 dollars. You will be able to put crysis on max settings with a very smooth gameplay of 44fps target no less!!!!!

  • i have 1200-1100 pix but i heard that if your pc is older, you can't put some vids in ur pc is that right? (sorry for bad language i'm dutch)

  • I'm not sure sorry. But you have to make sure that your motherboard supports this video card. I'm Dutch too!

  • thx

  • who is the better pls tell me because i will to by tomorrow HD 4850 1GB

    or HD 4870 512MB

  • the 4870 512mb is alot better

  • yeah I have the 4850. The up to 25% boost with the 4870 makes a big difference in crysis if you want to run some aa to make it look A LOT prettier.

  • My HD 4870, 4GB RAM, and 3.1Ghz Duo Core lags on 1280x1024-Enthusiast.

  • maybe shit PSU?

  • i have a 750 watt PSU from OCZ

  • Update bios

  • My single 9600gt in 1024x does about this good...

  • No need to resort to name calling. PC gaming and console gaming both have their pros and cons. It's all about preference. I play on PC b/c I enjoy the types of games and mouse/keyboard. For the majority of people, consoles are good enough.

  • "Please note that it look smooth for you..."

This is FAR from smooth. Terrible FPS, are you getting like 30 FPS?

  • that is about 20 fps

  • I'd rather just buy a 360 or PS3 and not worry about computer specs. It's a waste of time. And a year from now, they'll have another game which you need to buy more stuff to run it. It's just not worth it. Buy a console, and that's that. Graphics on consoles are still quite good.

  • Yeah, have fun playing with your shitty joysticks and shitty multiplayer. You'll still have to buy another console in 3 years, which will cost more than a GFX card upgrade.

  • It's still cheaper to by a console on the day it releases than to by a computer every few years. 2 years from now, your computer wont have the power to play the newest PC games. I think that PC gamers overrate PC games a bit too much.

  • Indeed it's lovely playing in the sofa.

  • My points was that you don't have to buy a new computer every 2 years. Honestly, you can run most games at high settings with a $100 GFX card. And when the newer games come out a few years later, you spend another $100 to get a better card. This is like, every 2 or 3 years? Less if you aren't on that shitty of a budget. New processor like what every 5 years? If you think that is really so expensive.... Maybe you need to get a job.

tl;dr you're an idiot, consoles are for casuals

  • I can definitely afford one. But it's not worth the money. It just takes more time to play PC games, time that I don't have. I work and go to college, so it would just be a waste of time to sit here and configure my settings every time I wanted to play a different game. not only that but the controller is so much more comfortable, I can lay on the couch while playing it.

  • Oh my god. You don't have to configure settings every time you want to play a different game. I have a job too. Also my hair is a bird, your argument is invalid. Enjoy your couch noob.

  • @JokinJoe

Funny, this wasn't true a year ago, and its even less true now since developers are stuck on the current gen of consoles. Adding a nice graphic card and controllers would be much cheaper these days than a console.

  • It's not really maximum quality.

You only have 4x AA and no AF.

  • I'LL CALL PETA !!!!

  • i can only run this game on high.but why evey where i go theres loading of trees and bushes?

  • who the fuck cares, i still play it

  • do u use Fraps?

  • high graphic is for rich bitch only

  • High graphics is for nerds that know how to save money.

  • how many fps's do u get

    because i have a computer similiar to your with e8500 @ 3.5

    dual 9800gt

    4gb

nd i only get like 20 fps

  • Do you use 32 or 64 bit?

And what clock speed is your ram? Should be 1066+ for a gaming computer.

And you might need to update your drivers because 20 fps is bad for what you claim you have, I'm running a Q6600, 8800Ultra, 4GB DDR2 1066 on a resolution of 1680x1050 on high quality and I'm reaching around 30

  • i use 32 bit and my drivers are all updated but my memory is at 800mhz but that shouldnt make such a big difference you no what im sayin

  • Install 64 bit it might give you that little kick in performance you need to play Crysis.

Or your pc is heating very quickly, do you have good air flow?

  • 32bit vista can use 4gig but only 3gig for one app so basicly only 3gig plus minus other memory.

64bit won't boost performance at all if you don't got more then 3gig memory. But you have 4gig so you can take avantage of 64bit.

  • probably a very weak power supply. thers nothing much you can do about it exept face fats that for everyone there will be times wen ANY crytek game will lag

  • What's this track name? self control?

  • sad but true- metallica

    :)

  • Lagg, turn down the settings

  • So what you got mate? After all i frapsed this.

  • this game runs smooth with my 8800gtx oc2 on max settings and aa

  • very nice video, mate!!!crysis warhead RULZ Wars even more

BTW:Metallica rocks they are the best

  • That framerate is too low. It's clear that 8800GT with SLI is not good enough.

A single GTX 280 or with SLI = Ohh yeah man!!

  • I ran good well... until the hovercraft part for example. I had to turn down the graphics. But g92 sli or 9800gx2 outperform the gtx 280 in alot of test, but not crysis proving that it's a very good card for game's that don't exist or isn't released. :)

  • now coz of the optimized driver 178.15(i think) the 280gtx owns the 9800gx2 and the g92's in sli

  • *Calls PETA* :D

  • can i play enthusiast with 1650x1050 on 4850 4bg ram and phenom 9850 (stock)?

  • i have a really good pc gateway fx gaming comp with 9800 gt and i try running enthusiast and it lags like crazy can anyne help me out

  • it mean's hah you cannot run cryhead with a single 9800. so here is some advice..go buy a 9800X2 or a 4870X2

  • Most "pre-built" computer got last gen, high end motherboard or other hardware. Even if everything looks good the price tag will never make you go profit.

  • *cough* really good *cough* gateway

You make me laugh, learn to build a comp yourself, its not hard and you can build your self a WAY better comp for the same price.

  • turn your resolution down i can run it in enthusiast mode at 640X480 and i have an 8600gt

  • my gtx280 goes in low power mode at that res lol

  • well i only had enough money to buy what i ahve for a system ny parents dont buy me stuff

  • so utell me my 4850 can handle enthusiast on 1650 X 1050?

  • yeah there good cards better than nvidia i think

  • The song is:

Metallica - Don't tread on me.

  • Whops shit sorry.

Meant Metallica - Sad but true.

  • sorry i didnt saw ur comment above xD

  • lol thx

  • u mean sad but true

  • name of song plz

  • Hahaha, "Please dont call PETA... :(" xD

  • if u use vsync u will lag becuse the high FPS u will get is 60 dont have it on man u will lag

  • DX9 ?!

  • 5 for the video and 7 for the song sut but true.

  • omg this game is so uggly.. .. ... NooT!

  • Great choice of song! Fuckin love Metallica saw them live in london :P

  • about the ai . same or improved?

  • It feels like it's improved but that might just be paths and scripts.

  • What is average FPS?

  • very cool does you have an other weapon sound on the SCAR?

    5*

  • gun sounds different when shot in single shot, its not a sound mod

  • Ahh okay i understand ;) THX mate

  • LOL the description shows that someone is hungry for views... which they want to get by luring one into viewing their video... That is pitiful.

But anyway I like the music selection. Metallica foreveR!

  • Yeah i want views :3

  • nice video! im getting practically the same build soon, only reall difference is im getting the P5N-D motherboard and a E7200 which i plan to OC to around 3GHz, so im impressed :D whats your average fps?

  • very nice video !

  • Nice

  • Nice. I have dual 8800GT's XXX edition, an e6400 (oc'ed 3.2ghz), and 3gb DDR2 memory. All in Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit. In order for me to have decent FPS in enthusiast is when I really lower my resolution to 1024X900. And it still lags at times.

I'm surperised that you only oc'ed your e6400 to just 3.2ghz, most people OC it to 4.0ghz with no problem.

  • Restore the drivers rocketed me sky high. By the way it's a e6400 not a e8400. Got my e6400 to 3500mhz but that is the max heat and it get unstable.

  • hallo how you going what is the med spec in warhead i have a 8600gts

  • nice vid

    wat was ur avg fps?

  • 25-40

  • avg fps is a number not an intervall. Also your avg fps doesnt look to be one bit over 20
