The reason people in rs are so thick headed I believe is that rather than it being a massive multiplayer online game its pretty much a massive solo online game because nearly anything and everything in this game can be done solo which has everyone only thinking of themselves. Also all the really young or immature people give the community a bad name and therefore there are no morals anymore so people result to doing whatever they need to get an item like scamming making it hard to trust people.
