@alperengenc nah man, this is his own version, cos he cudnt just play the same one as everyone else eh? although i thought this the worst song ive ever heard jake do..........
@alperengenc over the rainbow is originally an eric clapton song... i personally am not a big fan of his way of singing it, a much bigger fan of iz's rendition, but it's just me... clapton plays a lot slower and has a different tune to it, it kinda sounds like this version...
@Nelsonisms yeah you're right... my bad... i didn't know it went so far back. i just stumbled on a video of him performing it and figured he wrote the whole thing... thanks for the correction :)
To have the brain for harmony and arranging like this is incredible at any age, never mind at the young age Jake is. If I wore a hat I'd take it off to him. What a master.
Beautifully arranged with wonderful chord changes and expression. Jake is a great talent which should be recognized as the Oscar Peterson (legendary jazz pianist) or Joshua Bell (world acclaimed violinist) of the uke. What an incredible talent!
@musicman1nce NOOOOO not josh bell! Haha. Sorry, as a violinist, that sell-out showoff -kinda- gets on my nerves. Sure, he's a pretty good player. But he's also one of the most overrated musicians ever.
@DathronSpam83 dude Jake has a feel for music that not many others in the world have, josh bell is just as great if not better but Jake is not a show-off, he is just having fun and feeling the music instead of just standing there like a zombie, he puts his own perspective into the uke!
@musicman1nce why u even say that Oscar and Joshua were a pianist and violonist ...its like making a redundancy...everybody should have heared about them ...basic knowlege
@runeskypex its also basic knowledge that you say "Why do you even say that Oscar and Joshua were a pianist and a violinist?" and "Everybody should have heard about them" as opposed to "why u even say that Oscar and Joshua were a pianist and violonist" and "everybody should have heared about them"
@musicman1nce Very well put! His command of the instrument is so astonishing that it takes a while to get beyond that and notice how superior a musician he is in general terms. What a singular talent.
Uke makers must just LOVE this guy!!! Oh, Me Too! Haaaaaaaaaa
