  • does the guy really have to unload rounds that fast? wont it damage the gun or something?

  • I've always had the magazine loaded the second way when it comes to charger loading, or even just manually loading the magazine and then inserting it. Always loaded the magazine so that the round on top is in front of the next round. It feeds just fine for me, very smooth. It was always how the AAFC taught me when it came to rimmed cartridges. Though I'm curious as to how the military method put forward there works you'd think the 1st and 3rd rounds would double feed with the 2nd and 4th?

  • @TheHandgunhero I know, that's what I thought too, but somehow, it works out.

  • i got one just like that. what year was your made

  • Dude you have a great format for reviewing these milsurps! Thanks a bunch! Keep going!

  • @mtblance Thanks for the kind words! I'll be uploading Part 2 soon. I haven't had a chance to watch it end to end to see if there's anything wrong with it because I'm back at college and a bit busy, but it should be up within a week.

  • Great video.

Quite a lot of info for any new Lee-Enfield enthusiast. Be warned: These Guns are addictive! Once you got it you'll want to shoot it, and shoot it and... . I suppose you're getting the idea.

I'm seriously infected, getting a No.4 first and then an SMLE. Both are lovely to shoot, smooth and fast action and hardly any recoil. By comparison to a Mauser K98 or a Swiss K31, that is.

I use the second method shown for loading my chargers, and I found it more useful by the way.

  • Nicely done!
