  • I know every word to this, since this was my high school's favorite song to play at masses.

  • I remember singing this at the liturgy's at my old school. I always used to say the songs we sang were so stupid, but now that I think about it, I really miss singing those beautiful songs.

  • I am singing this song today in church. I really enjoy Christan songs.

  • I completely agree with LittleDragon2000! The St. Louis Jesuits and John Michael Talbot are still my favorites. Their music truly is "100 fold better" than any of the liturgical songs being composed today. We sang "One Bread, One Body" and "City of God" yesterday at Mass, and I was SO uplifted and inspired! Liturgical music just doesn't get any better!

  • absolutley. do you know where i could listen the s.louis jesuits version online? many thanks

  • this was one of my favorite songs to sing in church when i was in my church's childrens choir

  • Thanks for sharing these songs from the St. Louis Jesuits / Glory and Praise. Dan Schutte and John Foley - along with John Michael Talbot -- are my favourite composers of worship music.

These songs -- composed three decades ago and first appearing in Glory and Praise song books -- are still better than anything composed since. And they are 100 fold better than today's insipid love songs that pass for worship music!
