Anyway, here's my real comment.

Who cares who You're So Vain is about? I wrote a song about having this person who tried to be my friend but I turned away who died, and the song is about regret. Here's the catch: It wasn't about anyone I actually knew.

It could be about anyone. If you listen to the other interview you will see that it is just clever lyrics. That is what is so great about that song. She is really loving that she wrote that song! Her voice is wonderful and her attitude fantastic.
