when you have multiple layers of paint that are still wet and you slap magazine paper on, parts of the layers come off and it gives it a really cool look.

yeah it does matter, you need paint that opaque and transparent paint works good for shading.

the paper serves 2 purposes, 1 its peels some paint off to give a textured look, and 2 it stops some paint from hitting the canvas, and lets it hit other places, therefore layering it :)

Si d'accordo l'abbiamo capito come si picchietta per fare un arbusto, una palma, un albero.

L'abbiamo capito come si realizza un pianeta e un fiume, o una montagna o mare.

Ai tempi alle scuole medie ho riprodotto fedelmente con pennelli e colori a olio un modigliani ed ero in grado di riprodurre qualsiasi quadro.

Perchè non dipingere una bella ragazza per esempio?

Una cosa è un quadro che a prima vista appare bello e un'altra è la tecnica pittorica dei pennelli e dei colori a olio.
