If I remember correctly, this was august of 2006; it was in Dortmund.
You'll be happy to know that Bela Perencz will be performing as Hans Sachs in "Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg", next februari, in the State Opera in Budapest.

Thank you fot the answer! I shall go to this performance. Last week I heard him as Scarpia and this was great.
