I perceive tamasaburo has been doing onnagata for many lifetimes. He has a weary perfection that tells me this. Look at the way he moves. Pure grace and elegance. I hope after he retires from performance he chooses to teach the Geisha. Imagine how their dance would improve. I want to be his student.

Tamasaburo really is beautiful, and this is considered one of his hit roles. He is a true artist. He has directed movies too.

God I love Musume Dojoji! It has to be my favorite kabuki drama along side of Kagamijishi (both staring my all time kabuki actor, Bando Tamasaburo!).
