Hey, how did you setup your disk to do the auto flash. I believe my laptop is having the same problem. I know this is not a fix in all cases but I have seen it work before. Could you walk me through setting it up or point me to where I can learn to do so?
I was able to set my 1st boot to cd once but haven't got the keyboard to work again so booting it wouldn't be a problem.
the chip is soldered on. acer just destroyed the computer i bought from them with a bios update, and I have no warranty left. I'm trough with acer and their pathetic efforts on the support side. They sell you their stuff and don't give a shit about you afterwards - I've experienced it before trough lack of driver updates, and it's a well known fact on forums on the internet. DON'T BUY ACER! opportunistic behaviour like that should not be rewarded.

mine Motherbord are dead, when i push the power button, only start cooler of the CPU and Led's of the console.

mine completely died after it locked up when flashing to 3.10. completely dead. doesn't even respond when I push the power button.
do I have to replace the BIOS chip manually to get it to switch on again? where can I get a chip?
