One thing I've noticed is the maturity of the vocals. I loved Mastodon since Remission and they were about tearing your face off with the vocals on that and Leviathan. Some people don't like it and think it's a selling out. They need to get fucking real. Great songs by great songwriters, great musicians. Mastodon fucking rocks!

This is the best musical show in the UK...it changes from metal to jazz pop, to a singer-songwriter to a renowned world famous band, then to some north african band with an entirely different language; then back to a famous Motown legend...all with fantastic beats, rhythm and sound. Troy's singing performance is really good on this one, man this song is not easy to scream so high + playing the bass...Very good job. I had the chance to discuss an hour with those guys in Paris in 2009, they are humble, very smart, stayed until the last picture with the last fan...Impressive.
