NOT speed up! compare it to other onboard runs in the same class of cars! Another very good indications for noobs in mototrsport is the sound! You can hear rev going down very early before the narrow corners -> this means he starts breaking very early -> remember, this is a race! why should he break 150m before a curve when he is only driving say 150 and would only need some 60m or less to stop to 0km/h -> easily going 230km/h at parts of the track!! not speed up! Thumbs up if u agree!!

Look up similar m20 or hillclimb videos, this is how fast they are. I'm sorry you're so accustomed to nascar, but please don't insult these drivers with accusations

This wasn't even too fast, over 2'30''. This year's champ Simone Faggioli, did all 3 courses under 2'15'' - That's at least 15 seconds faster than in this video.

I still absolutely think this video is sped up. Look at this video of an identical car: 0dW9XcgGk2Y, compare time between shifts, speed and camera vibration. Looks like this one is sped up at least 1.5x if not more.

If it was sped up, then his hand movements at what you would call "real time" would be way too slow to be acceptable. I don't think this is sped up at all. His head movements (notable in the mirror) seem typical as well, which would again lead me to believe it's not sped up.

Holy cow, you're right! People please quit giving this guy thumbs down, I've both worked extensively with video and been around motorsports as a track official, as well as driven on track. Spend the whole video watching his hands closely...some of the movements are totally unnatural. Sad to say, look elsewhere for something this fast.

@ProjectVIN I see what you're saying in the mirror. But look at the driver's movements in the car (not in the mirror). I think he's just hurrying up to get ready. Then look at the movement of the crowd, especially the guy standing on the right. Those look more natural and I think this is legit. Check out Alain Castellana's other vids, the guy is ridiculous.
