My VTX and I get along just fine. She bonds with me like my 59 Panhead did, we're one on the road. I've been riding for 40 years, I've had Hogs, and Beemers, and Trumpets, and various grinders. It is not the brand, it's the road that you ride. It's the heart, and the sweat, and the blood you invest. Some bikes sing the song, some are tone deaf. This was a righteous ad for riding.
OH and bashing on the people who kept your product alive long enough for the paper pushers and doctors to spend 70k on some walmart "chopper" with a harley engine.

I have an 03 Heritage at home in the US. Posted overseas I ride a really tech advanced and capable European bike. I ride with locals who enjoy riding the machines. But when we talk, it is never about the brand. When we ride, they ride too fast because there is little concern for showing off the machines. When we stop, there is never beers and bonding while we wipe the days grime off the non-existent chrome. Damn I miss riding with my Dad on our HD's in the US. See you soon Dad.

Bought one new honda 2006 vtx 1300.NEVER AGAIN! They won't honor their warrenty.The company acts like they are doing you a favor, letting you buy one of their bikes.I went to trade the bike in,it has no resale value.Next time I'll buy an american brand Harley or Victory. we need strong american companies to get out of this recession. It's an awesome ad! I'm not a big harley fan though [scared by the many stories of its unreliability] , but it doesn't matter, being in two wheels is one of the best experiences I've ever had, and this ad reminds me of the unspoken creed many bikers live and ride for.
As the company progresses. I'd like to see where HD lays in the future in terms of technology and innovation. The VRSCA looks like a really well made and finished bike. I hope they keep peeking into that direction. Alot of people were satisfied with the complete turnaround they did with that bike. Liquid cooled, Aluminum frame, and Very potent power plant.

I have been riding for 37 years, I have had all sorts of bikes and 5 Harley's over those years. This video puts a lump in my chest every time. Harley's are not just a motorcycle. bought a nightrain in 05 after I got back from iraq and i ride it into the ground, and do 90% of the maintence after I got smoked by harley for my first oilchange so i didnt void warranty, but I love this bike you couldnt break it and 34000miles and a divorce later, still goin strong, about to buy a road king, used to ride c rockets they are fun but i love my harley! Ride alone and enjoy the solitude.

Im 28, just got a 2002 sportster 883. I am making it my own. I've only had it for 2 months, i haven't ridden it in 3 days because my clutch cable snapped and won't be able to get another one for a couple of days.
I have never missed anything so much. lol Can't wait to ride again.

Love my 2011 Harley FLTRX, but the bike I started on was a 2008 Yamaha V-Star 1100... I had never been on a bike before, and it got me riding.

Had 2 BMWs in a row for the past 6 years and always told everybody that BMW was better than Harley.

bought a nightrain in 05 after I got back from iraq and i ride it into the ground, and do 90% of the maintence after I got smoked by harley for my first oilchange so i didnt void warranty, but I love this bike you couldnt break it and 34000miles and a divorce later, still goin strong, about to buy a road king, used to ride c rockets they are fun but i love my harley! Ride alone and enjoy the solitude.

What FabulousEternal is trying to say is that this is all a marketing scheme and/or some gimmick. Cynicism is the inherent trait of those who know so much more than everybody, more than any of us. It means that God who created all of us, gave them a much better set of eyes. They "can see through it all" so much better than we can. It must be nice being so smart when we're all sooo stupid. Form your own opinion, but in the end, it's you and the bike. Yes a motorcycle will always cost.

For the sake of everyone else here:
1. Try and make some sense with your argument. All I can take from it is an angry rant without a purpose nor any clarity.
2. It's not Harley-Davidson's fault if people can't control their reckless spending. Look back to the 1920's and you will see what I mean.
3. Bernard Madoff is in [sleep-away-from-home] jail. He can't be playing, "Wild Hoggs..." And to be quite frank, I doubt he has ever experienced the awesomeness of a bike.

For all the knockers of the Harley creed and lifestyle. If I have to explain it, you wont understand. You never will. We dont want you to. So go ride your cheap, unreliable, plastic Harley copies in your boring little suburbs and leave the open roads to real people on bikes that will get us home everytime. Great video.

We believe in charging too much for everything we sell. We believe in marketing bikes for people that will only ride them around their neighborhood to show off. We believe a few hundred dollars is a fair price for an oil change. We believe if you don't ride a Harley you aren't independent enough to be part of our group. I believe this was a really cool video though.

1. I ride my Harley to school and work every day. I don't show off. [At least, not like the guys on superbikes pulling mile-long wheelies on the highway at 85 miles an hour].
2. You can opt to change the oil YOURSELF, you know. That is, supposing you have the knowledge and the tools to do so.

Im 28, just got a 2002 sportster 883. I am making it my own. I've only had it for 2 months, i haven't ridden it in 3 days because my clutch cable snapped and won't be able to get another one for a couple of days.
I have never missed anything so much. lol Can't wait to ride again.

if only this shit was true. anymore harley believes in the money that can be spent at their boutiques, and they believe in the fact that anybody can be a "biker" with the right amount of cash. it used to be about freedom, now it's about weekend warriors who have to go back to their white-collar jobs on monday. this is a marketing scheme, and it's irritating as fuck.

I always loved Harleys, But I believe that HD sold out and most people that buy them don't ride for shit. NEVER CALL HIM A BIKER UNTILL YOU SEE HIM RIDE. It doesnt matter the make of bike or the clothers you wear. It is your true love of the road that makes you a biker.
