Yogi was popular at the time...Cartoons were used to catch your eye at a cheap market rate...I loved them...may not remember the show but I remember the Beer.......................BBBBBBUUURPPPPP what beer ....Hey Margie bring me another>
First, never thought on the idea that beer can be marketed with cartoon characters! What the Miller Brewing Company guys where thinking? Hey hey hey! Is NOT Yogi Bear!
@heine71 Pabst brewing was the owner of Hamms beer, but sold the brand to MillerSab. However, was interesting the fact that they where using animated characters to promote the brand.
@heine71 Pabst bought Olympia Beer, out of Seattle WA and bought the Hamms Brewing Company. Then, they sold the Hamms Beer brand to MillerSab, but still kept the Olympia Beer brand, thought they closed the Seattle brewery.

Speaking of which, where the tag line "The Land of Sky Blue Waters" originates from? I think the Pacific Northwest!

@caa1000 The Land of Sky Blue Waters refers to the Minnersota state and its lakes or something like that.

@caa1000 It's Pabst that owns Hamm's, not Miller.
