  • 08:34 who is the angry owl?

  • LOVE peter gabriel: one of the peope i most admire and have been inspired by. so much depth, such pathos, imagination, texture, presence...

  • I was involved in filming the show for use in publicity. It was filmed from several angles and a DVD was discussed. However, I was lead to believe that for Equity and Copyright reasons a DVD could never be made. Someone somewhere will have fantastic quality footage from the show, sadly not me. The only footage I have was filmed from the aerial gantry.

  • i love Pater Gabriel genious man ♥♥♥♥

  • Who is the person discussed after Elizabeth Fraser is?

  • Found him:

    Iarla O Lionaird

He's not on the Wikipedia page, but he will be...

  • Peter gabriel is my all time favourite musican. Downside up is the best song he ever written.

  • I´m there with you - all time favorite and hero in music.

  • ok, one thing. gabriel is totally wrong about that rap track. it only butchers the feel of the rest of the album. does he really think we need the story explained by a couple generic rappers? do we seem to stupid to not be able to figure it out for ourselves? maybe he's accustomed to making music for dumb people...

  • Ridiculous. I think you're missing something there.

  • another masterpiece . .. .nothing to say . ..speechless....

  • So... now that we know that there is no video DVD of OVO, how can we ask Peter Gabriel to edit a video of it?, how can we suggest this? it was such a great work and, to me, it's a shame that there is no DVD...

  • I worked in the Dome and saw the show over 200 times it was so amazing but it was never put on DVD as far as I know :-(

  • I went to see in at the Dome, yes it was good. I enjoyed the ropes and the ribbons...then I remembered some moods and some voices, a few words....and promptly forgot it. I brought the album...played it all afternoon once...and then left it to gather dust. Move on....

  • Even though 'Ovo' seems a bit daft this is a wonderful mixture, especially Paul Buchanan and Liz Fraser.

Also Richie Havens' voice is chilling but warm at the same time. Gabriel's voice has slowly moved closer to his over the years and sounds all the better for it, an album of each performing the other's material would be amazing: Gabriel doing 'Tinsel Town In The Rain' or Buchanan doing 'Here Comes The Flood' or Havens singing something by The Cocteau Twins! If only.

  • Yeah, I have it too. It's on Peter's RealWorld label

  • There was a release of "Ovo" on Cd, I have it

  • Where did you find it please? :)

  • No, I've looked for it, but I don't think a full recording was ever produced. How can anyone listen to Liz Fraser's vocals at the beginning of this clip and not be moved - this demands a release on its own.

  • I suppose it's possible to order in some music shops. Thank you for the video.
