onimusha two had it all, timeless graphics, nice weapons, interesting characters, a nice setting with woods n stuff, no henri in it, and jubei is kinda badass judging by the look on his face he always has... my favorite
@MickyThunderV I never really liked the whole traveling back and forth through time on the 3rd one, that was my only complaint about it, but the intro of onimusha 3 tops all the other intros of the onimusha series. However no matter how much negative comments are about this game, it was always my 'favorite' =D
@TheronInc sam and jaque are way better then jubei. then there's this stupid trading thing in part 2 which to has nothing to do with onimusha at all. now i'm stuck with kotaro cus of the stupid trading thing. i don't remember using him at all the 1st time playing the game on normal. the part where sam is stuck in the fog valley forest maze. kotaro is weak.oyu is even weak. keadi or how ever her name is spelled is mcuh better character in the 1st one than part 2 characters.
@leonpal14 i don't like the fact that it seems to much spirits to level up the weapons in part 2. i don't like the trade system at all. jubei to me feels like a wimp compared to sam and jaque. the only thing that makes the game better is the ultimate mode. with that said i still have 1, 2, and 3 cus i think its pointless to trade any of them.
Watching the guy Gogandantess was a little bit confusing for me. I am a person who the east style is generaly nothing for me. The only exception in the last generation was Genji.
@novanisvidblog Gogandantess is pretty stylish, he is a pure narcissist and that makes him interesting.^^
Genji on the other hand is a game I genuinely dislike, even though its style initially attracted me. You should've mentioned Okami as your exception... =P
And yes, Team Ninja's portrayal of Samus really annoys the hell out of me... >_<
for me, the last generation of consoles are way better than what we have now..the dreamcast,ps2, xbox and gamecube have so many great games..i'm having a lot of fun going through all the games i missed, which is practically everything on dreamcast and xbox as i didn't own them at the time..and most games are dead cheap now lol
Nice review. Seeing this footage makes me want to play this game again, just finished Warlords. This brings back memories.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
honestly onimusha 1 and 3 are the only ones worth playing. part 2 is a big waste of time.

@CAVALLIN0 I happen to spend the majority of my playtime with older systems as well, so I can definitely see where you're coming from.^^

I bought a PS2 a few weeks ago and I have to say:
Onimusha 2 is my next game! awesome review! do I need to play the first part to understand the story?
simrr 1 year ago 3
@simrr No, it's not required that you play Onimusha 1 to fully appreciate its sequel, so don't worry! =)

@dde12321 Well, I found the gameplay to be so-so, but what really tried my patience way too much was the portrayal of Samus in the game. >_<°
