.ico is a Windows file right? So i don't get very much why to use this method, also to consider that even if compatible, OSX requires a 512px version icon.

When i recently made my first icon for an app, i used an online converter, there are a few like iconverticons[dot]com

Or in Windows 7 (64bit) i could save it as .jpeg (.jpg) and change it manually by renaming it to .ico :)

But tha's easier way if you do many icon files but i don't so i don't mind download, i do just like 5 icons or so.

Windows 7 Users, it says this right in the directions if you read it first!

If you are running on a 64-bit Windows system and are launching the 64-bit version of Photoshop CS4 or CS5, download the 64-bit version of the plugin and put it in the Plug-Ins folder corresponding to 64-bit Photoshop (i.e., the one in "Program Files" not "Program Files (x86)").

Or just choose PNG and then remove .png from the end of the file and add .ico.

When ever I use this plugin I save it as a Icon And Icon rendered in a REALLY crappy quality. (Circle Icons Come out like pin jagged discs) WTF?!!? something is wrong! I tried on 4 different computers!
