Now here i agree whit audirocks and sqr81r cuz the discovery is waaaay older , it looks to me like the one from 88-93-94 and the discovery looks like a 2003-2004 at least . Yeah the older are made like tanks but all that " tank like " chassie are pussed into the car , where at the newer cars that eather absorb eather deflect the sock of the crash to all chassie and bodywork . So use 2003-4 newer 4x4 and i bet all would be gooder than the rest of the car types

@AudiROCKS it is fair.it is much better then against an modern suv because they are build completely different.the frame structure of those old landrovers is very massive whereas the new suv's like audis are more designed and crafted like normal sedans or vans.with a soft frame structure in the front to absorb the impact.so this test is very useful in my opinion.it shows that nobody needs those suv's to feel safe.

hope some can be inspired to buy a normal car instead of such silly big suv's.

The chances of crashing a car from the same era as your own is not always going to happen. 4x4's are designed in a different way to cope with serious strength added to points a normal car wouldn't have.
