  • Do you hook your pinky on your picking hand around the bridge pickup for stability? Or does it just rest on the bridge? Also are you strictly into death metal? I ask cuz there are some killer bands like After The Burial, Abysmal Dawn, and Whitechapel. Do those bands interest you?

  • @metaldad1967 It's either resting on the body between the pickups, or against the thinnest string. It's my default style I suppose, it does feel like it renders my picking hand more stable. I am into all kinds of metal, from neoclassical shredding to raw black metal. As long as it's somewhat decent.

  • Excellent job! Subscribing.

  • I really enjoyed the hell out of watching this. You nailed the minor third harmonies...everything, perfect. Definitely audition the next time Suffo needs a new guitar player!

  • What is that guitar?

  • @Erajortikka666 Ibanez RG321MH

  • that was some awesome guttural playing bro!!!

what kind of program are you using for the drums? sounds very nice. if anything can you give me a link as to where you use it? is it easy to use?

    thanks ^__^

  • @symendiola89 Thanks for the comment! I'm still using Guitar Pro at the moment, it's midi tablature software. But I'm looking into free drum software and samples now, for future uploads (I think I'll use them from cover #22 onward).

  • C tune ???

  • That was awesome bro. Their shit always sounded like it was so much fun to play. Great job on figuring all the notes out! Must have been tough.

  • @brettbed Thanks, but I didn't tab it out myself. However, there's another Suffo cover coming up (#18 or so), and I've created the drums for that one. :)

  • @Exoow Oh my bad. Great playing anyways. Which tab did you use? It sounds very accurate.

  • @brettbed The powertab from MetalTabs and the GP from Ultimate-Guitar.

  • Damn your drum machine. Lol. But another fine cover. And you got the beats down again so I cant be mad.

  • Nice cover man.

I find Deceit to be pretty straightforward and easy (compared to other suffo) if you're looking for more.

  • Definitely not Pierced from Within, thats some truely hard stuff. As mentioned Effigy seems approachable, also Despise the Sun sounds rather easy to me, it's not nearly as complex as Pierced. Song like Funeral Inception and Catatonia of the aforementioned album are really great songs and actually quite simple compared to other stuff. Hope this helps

  • Do you consider this song to be kind of easy to play? Im asking because I'm trying to get into playing Suffocation on the guitar, and it often turns out to be to much of a challenge ;)

  • I don't think it's "easy", but it's very playable, even though my right arm starts burning toward the end. ;) It's the easiest Suffo song I've seen on tab yet. Thanks for your suggestions, I'll check them out.

  • @somatder I would check out Deceit. I find that to be one of the easiest top play. At least off of that album.

  • try some stuff from effigy of the forgotten! im sure there are a few on there u can play! great cover by the way!

  • Thanks! I'm working on some other covers right now, but I'll keep it in mind for later on!

  • bery fucking cool man

  • Great job !!

Try 'Abomination Reborn' from Suffocation,.. it's 'easy' ;)

  • Thanks! You're right, I could do that one, but the midi tab is lacking drums, and I'm a bit reluctant to play it with a metronome. I might do them myself, one day. :)

  • I thikn yo play very well to!!!

  • so cool!!!

    yeahhh

yo play very well!! congratulations !!!
