  • this will work great for my science fair

  • this was a nice reference...I have a mircro final tomorrow >.<

  • nice video , thanks :)

  • Don't like multiple specimens on a slide carryover can give false positives on Blood cultures/Cerebro spinal/Synovial fluids.

  • thank you!

  • no sterile technique?

  • you still didn't heat fix it

  • I guess if you're used to putting the specimen in the same spot all the time you wouldn't have a problem but if you're starting out wouldn't it be good to mark the slide around the area so you know where to apply the stains and everything else?

  • There are grease pens that can be used to make a circular area to hold the sample. Sharpies, etc., are not a good idea since the ink will dissolve and can interfere with some stains.

Our SOPs print with a 1" x 3" rectangle with 1-3 circular spots as a guide. The student positions the slide within the rectangle and places specimens in the spots according to the step-by-step instructions.

  • This is a great one! Short and to the point. Will be showing this in my micro class that I teach.

Thanks for making it such a good one

  • thank you very much because i need like these lesson and thank you
