Well..there are commercials but they still show where the featured driver is the whole time and you can switch the audio to in car (driver-spotter-crew chief) while they are at commercial. Thats what I do..

since u have it, on nascar hotpass, if ur driver isn't one of the ones selected to watch.. can u just watch the race and it still be in HD? cuz we dont get FOX HD on our local station

You can watch the race in the upper right hand corner, and you can select to have audio from the race broadcast on FOX instead of the HotPass channel, and yes I believe in HD.
