It's been 1 year since i lost my best friend fighting beside him in Afghanistan . Not a day goes by since then that i don't think about him and what happened to him or that i could change places with him. he lost his life from a stray bullet fired from a insurgent's gun, going straight through his throat killing him instantly, thanks for all the support and prayers from our civilians back home! i Will fight for my life, SSG Brady's and our people's life's back home as long as i live!!

When I was younger one of my friends was complaining because she couldn't get the CD she wanted. The same day I found out my dad's deployment would be extended for at least three more months, when he had already been gone nine. He made it home safe, thank goodness, but so many did not. RIP All American soldiers. And may someone watch over the ones currently serving. Come home safe, all of you.

my uncle served this great country. he was in the frontline infantry vietnam and came back with at lest 4 purple hearts, his mom knew of 2. he didnt talk about it. im glad to call him my uncle. he was a good man, and not alot of people knew he was a vet.he left his home land for atlest 7 years. no one knew where he was. he is no longer here with us do to his drinking and smoking. r.i.p james richerd luckey 9/8/11 do me a faver next time u see a vet say thankes. it makes u feel good.
My husband is currently serving in afghanistan he is a United States Marine. I miss him terribly and can't wait for him to come home. I am very proud of my husband.

As a German I'm well educated in all the things that are wrong or supposedly wrong with America. The difference is that I'm part of the small minority that also knows what's damn right with it. My family has served in every war in American history, including one that fought in the American Revolution when he was 15. I am so proud of their history and every time I hear this song and others like it I think of them and our heroes nowadays. I could not ask for a better military to protect me and I will always be proud of them.
