What does it mean "Tegra 2"? Is it some kind of model of HTC Sensation?

And why is your gameplay so smooth, on my HTC Sensation it is a little bit laggy in games which need high performance.

@AmpoTheKing Tegra 2 is another platform, with another GPU, made by Nvidia, supposed to play only with "Tegra2 powered" devices. Our Sensation isn't Tegra2, but can play tegra2 games with CF3D drivers.

If you have a stock ROM, it explains your Sensation is not really smooth, I currently use an ICS ROM with overclockable kernel up to 1.8ghz

@dugadug27 not really worse than when watching an HD movie, the main battery drainer is the screen on our recent devices, having screen ON kills the stock battery within 3 hours on my Sensation, whatever if I play a game, tegra2 or not, watch a movie, use thge gps or browse the web.

hey...i did change the rom to android revolution hd 3.6.11...i wonder why the gaming performance lagging? its like stock rom is better...any idea? is it like this or only me get this problem? i compare moon chaser game and fruit ninja thd..both lagging...should get better performance because the custom rom gpu and cpu is higher.. help me pls.. really need this up to date..

@vvthundervv fruit ninja lagging??? How possible? It was not lagging with my stock ROM.... I suppose you have the included kernel by Faux, and Daemon overclock, so it really shouldn't lag...Maybe you could give a try to Bricked kernel?

@i900frenchaddict ya not lagging with stock rom but lagging with this rom..thats why i curious..n thats y i change back stock rom..can u lead me or link me how to bricked kernel? the android revolution hd not included bricked kernel? or i should search for not the latest android revolution hd(3.6.11) but follow urs (3.6.1)..i only did change rom, not yet try bricked kernel(i dono what is this, new to me)..

@i900frenchaddict - i downloaded the gameboid color A.D (emulator) from the android market but i cant get it to play the games i want to play, do i have to download some boid thing 1st? i'm new to android so i'm kinda struggling, could u suggest the best website to get the things i need for this sort of thing? all i want to do is play some old school pokemon etc. thanks

Want this Rom.... Can I change back to the original Rom after I root it?

@kneckel yes, it's possible to go back to stock ROM, unrooted, S-ON if needed (if you need your device to be repaired by HTC for example lol)

@rupture1122 yep, PS1 Tekken3, Yoshimitsu combos can be done with a touchscreen ^^ But to really play, I connect my Bluetooth gamepad lol

@jefreak1231 If you run stock ROM, I understand you find it not smooth, running a custom ROM and a custom kernel greatly improve its performances, really, I can swear that for Fpse, the PS1 emulator I have been beta testing since 2009, I can reach performances slightly above an overclocked galaxy S2. If you use a custom ROM, I have other tricks, like forcing CPU1 online, don't hesitate to PM me if you need some tweaks or advices

@jefreak1231 Yes, it has to be rooted, to use Chainfire3D and play Tegra 2 on a non-Tegra2 device.
