  • do your videos after dawn! it's really dark :p

  • The more choice the better, and in some jobs a blackberry is a must.

vibration feedback for button presses seems to be quite common outside the Apple environment.

I'm still waiting to see how Mobile Speak 4 wil handle Win Mobile and Symbian V6.

  • BlackBerry's OS is Java based. Java is just a VERY bloated programming environment. Java is also a kind-of out dated programming language. Sun developed it back in the late 80s and 90s and touted it as "the" programming environment that would one day dominate the computing platform across the board. It is still fairly common (due mostly to legacy-type software), but Java is actually a processor intensive language, and is fairly easily exploitable. Blackberry is primed for exploitation.

  • Somewhat unrelated, but I wanted to touch on this tactile screen phenomenon that appears to be catching on. I just received my GP2X Wiz in the mail the other day, and it does indeed have a tactile feel when you press onto the touchscreen with the stylus. Very subtle, but it is there. Unfortunately, the unit and screen itself is smaller than pictures would lead you to believe, but it's still nice to have that response from an OLED touchscreen at its current price point.

  • the inteface is what is going to be more of aproblem for it to work with a screen reader if it was that easy they would have had it work with it by now im sure
