I used to jam with Kofi and his school friend, bassist

Richard Merrett in a run down room in Acton, London in

the early 1990's. Kofi displayed an awesome ability to

play incomprenesible and difficult timings

with great ease.

He is being quite tame here.........

Sorry, but Mike Keneally is NOT a blues guitarist. Every solo he takes sounds like Zappa/Vai. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but if you're going to play Cream tunes, you've got to do it correctly. Did Clapton tap his neck? No. Case closed.

Kofi Baker doesn't sound anything like his father. You can tell he listened to too much Alex Van Halen or Chad Wackerman and not enough Max Roach growing up.. He doesn't even hold his left hand stick the jazz way. Kofi is a talented drummer, don't get me wrong, but he doesn't swing when he plays. These California drummers all sound alike.

This guitarist sucks. At least he sounds quite a bit like Bruce and/or Clapton, vocally that is.

Baker shines in this. He does an amazing job salvaging the poor guitars.

I'll be seeing Jack Bruce and Jeff Beck next month in separate concerts. These Keneally/Baker/Lunn videos that have been posted are the closest I'll have heard to them playing together.
