*grab coke* *put aside* *grab coke* *put aside* *grab coke* *put aside* *grab coke* hehe lol that was kinda funny but this guy is an amazing writer! I read about 4-5 books into Dresden but then I got a litttle confused with the whole Fairy stuff but Alera is amazing. I'm on Captain's Fury right now and I just want more and more. Nice Job, Jim!
just wondering if I'm the only one who thinks this but after reading all of The Dresden Files and some of Codex Alera I get the feeling that in real life Jim Butcher is kind of a dick. Not in the bad way but the kind that even when you know there messing with you, you can't help but chuckle a little.
I should of seen it coming because in the Dresden Files, Harry Dresden loves cokeacola, and drinks lots of it in each book. If harry isn't busy trying to not get killed then you can trust that he has a coke in his hand.
I do know what you meant about the coke. But I just don't understand - I am not a native - why you have written "I should of seen" instead of "I should have seen". The logical option is the second one - past perfect tense - which is phonetically pronounce the same (should've / should of). At first I though it is an idiom, but couldn't google it. It seems you confused " 've" with "of".
Don't worry, happens. But I guess the point is that you're not less likely to do this mistake again ;-) Don't take this personal, I'm just compulsive :P
hey guys. look at a LOT of interviews with creators of sagas and massive books..you'll see they're quite reclusive and generally uncomfortable, they stumble over their words. George Lucas, James O'barr, Stephen King, Steven Spielberg. Jim's no different. So let him be.
I like Butcher, I really do, but he seems to have like no self confidence here. Lift your face up man! You're the writer of a brilliant series, look people up in the eyes. (Or look into the camera.
Cameras are hard to act with. He's being quite charismatic and talkative with the person, but looking at the camera takes some getting used to. If you watch a video where he's interacting with a crowd, you'd see much more self-confidence.
He is looking at the guy asking the questions. Its not his bad. Its the bad of the stupid interviewer for neither puting the camera behind himself or instructing Jim where to look. It has nothing to do with his confidence level I am sure!!!
I LOVE DRESDEN LOL

Maybe "Should'VE seen that coming"? Is this a phonetic mistake or is this an idiom I am not aware of?
But the coke is a pattern, no argue on this one :D
