  • Don't get me wrong Joe is an awesome guitar player but I just feel like he lacks stage presence especially here. I mean it's gotten better in the last couple years but still lacking :/

  • finesse

  • When i go to sleep i leave this playing in the background quietly, i reach such a peaceful state of mind that i don't even get to finish it :)

  • I grew up on blues. I listen to this song everyday. For me, it soothes the soul.

  • i had a seizure and fell into a 4 year long coma after watching this performance. joe, you are the reincarnation of stevie ray vaughn

  • @mrfinn92 Then how are you writing this? This video was posted 3 years ago.

  • and people listen to lady gaga these days..... thats because you need a soul to listen to the blues and not just listen but to FEEL the blues ya dig?

  • I never really liked blues that much... until I heard this. Somehow, someway, it changed the taste buds in my ears. Now, I can't get enough of the blues. I've already gotten into the genre a lot more with many other artists as well. And it all started right here.

I just wanted to share my experience and say thanks, Joe.

  • @itcanbecheezcaketime

Check out the Jeff Beck "Truth" album with Rod Stewart on vocals, Ron Wood on guitar, and Nicky Hopkins on Piano. BUT, be careful, Make sure your insurance is paid up, and notify the fire dept. that the smoke is only Jeffs Guitar. Be ready for some serious pain.

  • Wow......this friggin rocks!!!

  • That was so fuckin' awesome.

  • So sick

  • hey guys, thanks so much for your support. Please go to the Official Joe Bonamassa YouTube Channel and subscribe!

  • @JoeBonamassaOfficial Heck yes!!

  • @RebelliousHutterite2 Joe, I love you, you love BB King like I love him too, lets do some together to rescue love for the world and safe our paradise future for earth!

  • how come its in black and white?

  • i love that dude!

  • Aside from J.B. amazing playing, that bass player is the grooviest dude on the planet

  • This is in my favourites, and one of my favourite Joe videos, I just keep coming back to it. I think that is the same bassist as at Rockpalast, I don't know about the drummer. He had two drummers at RAH! I guess if you're going to play a big venue like that you want to fill it up to bursting. I can't believe the notes he gets here, as he says he's from New York and Denver is mile high city. He's just amazing.

  • Best video on youtube

  • Did some say " the feeling aint there " ??? Are we watching the Same Video ?? Oh Its there pal, Maybe You Just Ain't Cool enough to Feel it !!!!!

  • mind blowing solo

  • Sounds like Zep's "Since I've Been Loving You"

  • does any1 know why he got a new bassist and drumer

  • :56!!!!! Fuckin beautiful

  • Chills down my back. holy shit

  • Joe is brilliant. I love Sandi Thom's new song with him!

  • sensational

  • awsome! I had my soul hanging on those strings all along!

  • Great great playing.

  • I think it depends on how he's playing. His humbuckers on his Les Paul go better when he's got the tube screamer on and is cranking. These single coils on the strat are better for a more cleaner, laid back preformance like this.

Either way his playing sounds incredible regardless of tone.

  • Awesome!!! I wish he would play with a Strat more often!

  • hmmmm. his tone really goes better with humbuckers

  • You gotta be joking...

  • somethings guitarists just dont joke about...

  • i agree...

  • no matter how many times i watch this, around the $:05 mark still gives me goosebumps!

    Magnificent!

  • Bonamassa got a new bass player and he actually sounds alot better

  • ouch!

  • thats my uncle kenny on drums

  • I hear nuthin' but FEELING here....tellin the truth.

  • I'm going to see the guy in november, cannot wait!!! He's is an awesome guitarist and what about that voice?? not bad for a white boy :)

  • Joe is the hottest blues guitarist and singer in the world. Search all you want, his performances outdo all the rest. Check out his video on youtube: THE THRILL IS GONE, and oh my, get ready to ease back and go into dream land. The blues finds its pinnacle perfection in Joe's voice, and in the lethal licks of the badest get down blues you will hear on the planet. The kid never misses a lick, you can listen as close as you like, I never hear any mistakes. Lick upon lick, there are no fumbles

  • Absolutely wonderful! =D

  • ace

  • feeling not there?.......wtf were you listening to?...

  • The feeling aint there!?? I think you will be in the minority on this comment..

  • Well... than you just never felt the blues!

  • @WEBTRAIN

Well...your first problem is that you consider this "lick" playing. These are full ideas related to each other. If you quote "hear a lot of other blues guitar players licks" than you must be familiar with the concept of call and answer which you can hear in abundance in this tune. The melody is there...the peaks and valleys are outstanding...if you've been listening since 1961 you should really consider revising your concept of "listening". It sounds like you're describing "hearing".

  • thanks for posting, it's one of my favorite version of this cause he it with a strat.

  • Can't get enough words out of soul, because this song's taking over!

    Greezt, Michael

  • veramente hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • orgasmic blues notes

  • thanx for re-posting dude...

    This is awesome! :D

  • Eric Czar was perfect with Joe...they both really got into what they were playing...feelin the groove... :)

    Love it Joe is spectacular!!

  • thanks for reposting, its awesome

  • WOOOW

    AWESOME!

  • My all-time favourit

  • Why was this video originally deleted? I attempted to click the original and it said terms of use violation or some shit. Anyways, I always loved this performance.

  • I had some videos of a few bands doing ZZ Top cover songs (Zakk Wylde, The Hoax) and ZZ Tops publishing company bitched, so I got my entire account deleted. So here I am again. Friggin sucks I had over 150 videos posted....
