  • we would have about 6 minutes of No Sense without a blast beat...

  • El blast beat dedicado al papa, se acuerdan? como se llama... mmm....quien la toca?

  • They make sense to me.

  • If you really think about it...

  • 1 person makes no sense.

  • El primer blast beat !!!

  • parece power violence de version mas larga este tema de Dri

  • As much as I like their crossover stuff, I wonder why they slowed down in doing so?

  • GRIND FUCKING CORE!

  • el primer blast beat

  • Esto está bien chingón, esto sí me gusta matarilelirelón.

  • el primer blast beat? jajaja bueno, es el primero.. no me gusta este genero saludos

  • this is where blast beats came from... amazing :)

  • The Air force says they need new planes

As they prepare for strafing raids

And the Army, of course, needs more men

So they can fight and kill and win

    makes perfect sense

  • WTF

  • I love this album.

  • thrash till death

  • el primer blast beat registrado, puro crossover

  • thrash hard bitch

  • this is not the first blast-beat song.

  • @hudde95 actually... this is

  • @redeemerx666 nope.. check asocials Could hardcore be any worse? album. swedish Hardcore.

  • @hudde95 ok...

  • @hudde95 While I agree with you and have heard that demo several times before, this song influenced the american scene more, and Asocial is almost more like a sped-up d-beat, if you get my point. This version uses it for dynamic deviation to express a theme, while Asocial makes a brutal ambiental, warlike climate that was later to be seen in black metal. So, in aesthetical terms they're similar, but not in application, also, since 'who was first' is in terms of who inspired who, this one

  • @Tweenythepriest Ok you seem to know alot about both scandinavian and american Hardcore. I was just pointing out though that they are the first to use Blast beat on record xD. But im sure DRI has influenced alot more bands then Asocial has.

  • @hudde95 Hehe, I know! :) Sorry, I just wanted to add the information, as you were contradicting somebody else, and show that you were both correct in your own manner. Makes sense? Well, that makes sense to me... (BadadadadadaDaaDaaaa)

  • @Tweenythepriest hehe kk

  • @hudde95 was more revolutionary in its exposure in the international underground, while Asocial stayed more in the swedish tapetrading (as far as I know from interviews with Tompa (Grotesque, At the Gates, Disfear et al) and Daniel Ekeroth (Insision, Tyrant et al), and also attests from undeground musicians ranging over the Atlantic, who seemed to cherish D.R.I and Venom more than Asocial, which was popular in Gothenburg and Stockholm mainly. So... One thing can be said for certain:

  • @hudde95 D.R.I's reputation of being the fastest band in the world in 1984 is not objectively correct, only in terms of PR and direct influence on great artists to come (Slayer, Morbid Angel, Entombed, Cryptic Slaughter, Napalm Death, you name it! :)). On another note, Both D.R.I and Asocial weren't just fast, they were amazingly qualitative, and cherish 'How Could Hardcore Be Any Worse', 'The Dirty Rotten LP' and another personal favourite 'Convicted' as Crossover thrash's greatest moments.

  • thrash zone!

  • O_o no mames que es esto xD golpeare a mi hermano por enviarme esta cosa jajajajajajajajjajajaajja

  • @MGDILANDAO esto... es actitud pura!!!

  • @Rollinsstomp82 It's not "BRUTAL" at all (not even relatively so compared to Death-bore); It's just good.

"Brutality" today is just another way to describe music that is extremely loudly-produced, ear-exhausting and, most importantly, EXTREMELY DULL!

So, you know.... Fuck even mentioning Death-bore on unrelated videos... It's almost as pointless as bringing up Justin Beiber in every video the way some people do (Jesus christ, come up with a joke of your OWN for once, kids! Shit is played out).

  • nice

  • This is not thrashcore, its crossover thrash

  • nah the early stuff was thrashcore

  • @Deathgrind740 ¬¬".. D.R.I are thrashcore/Crossover thrash

  • @Deathgrind740 This IS thrashcore. Their later albums are more crossover.

  • @Deathgrind740 This song is Grindcore, DRI's first two albums are thrashcore, from Crossover and on they are Crossover Thrash (the album name the genre actually).

  • @johnthegreek178 Oh , genre man... Just shutup, it's all hardcore punk.

  • @johnthegreek178 This song predates the genre "grindcore." Its a hardcore punk song. Let me guess, you call Siege "grindcore" , too? Grindcore is a bunch of crusties who play imitation metal. The only Grind i really like is Phobia, because they aren't a big batch of smelly fucking hipsters.

  • @noobishdumbberry Never heard of Siege, not much into punk and it's subgenres.

  • @johnthegreek178 Its all good. Siege was a boston band that played sonically fast hardcore.. five years before grind was made and everyone calls them grind.

  • majestuoso
