SECOND: I played through the entire game, and it is nearly NOTHING like the other Kingdom Hearts games. The action-RPG elements are still there, but there are several new things that were introduced and changed that distinguish it from the other games. I'm an actual Kingdom Hearts fan, so I would know. First off it's Kingdom Hearts. Not, "Kingdom of Hearts".

Second off, You need to have played the first 3 games to understand what's going on, which is probably why you think it sucks.
