I have super thick chipboard, so I bought the deep cutting blade. I've tried cutting just once on the deepest setting (6) and it didn't go through. Then I tried the multi-cut on 2, 3, and 4 and each time the cut wasn't even exactly in the same place every time and still didn't go through. What gives? I've also noticed that my blade seems to get hung up and makes a clicking sound sometimes. Any ideas?
Thank you so much for the videos. I am new to cricut and learning so much from you. I also thought the multi cut button meant you would get 4 copies of the letter A
I have a question. In your description it says " ow to use the mulitcut button on your Cricut Expression or Create". I have the Cricut Create but I don't see a multicut button or a settings button on mine. How could I do multicut on my Create without the button?
I only have the Cricut Create but I read online about a way to do multicut with the Create by using Design Studio. I only have the trial version of DS so I hope it works. Thank you for replying! I've been following your vids & blog, and I've really improved! You are a great inspiration and I hope you plan to continue making videos to help us Cricut/scrapbooking newbies.
So when you say "regular"chipboard, what thickness would that be? There are so many sizes out there I cant figure out which would work best. Also, do you have a tutorial on using the deep cutting blade on thicker chipboard? Sure would be awesome if ya did. You have helped me out more than you know!! THANKS!
Thanks again....I have been "collecting" chipboard yet afraid to cut it so now I'm going to go and try it out. I'm so glad that you "messed" the A up last time because it is encouraging to us "newbies" to see that even those of you that we admire make mistakes....keep the great videos coming please.
OMG! I thought I needed the Deep Cutting Blade and Housing for anything thicker than cardstock. I must try this with some thicker transparent material. Thanks a million.
Thanks. A small suggestion - It would be nice to see a short description on your video title like you did with Ep. 66 - "Princess Scrapbook Page". This way I can go back to your videos quickly when I need to refresh my memory. Thanks! ; )
Thank-you so much for posting these tutorials as they are quick, easy to understand and very informative! Keep up the great work and can't wait to see more of your videos!
Okay, so the multicut button is actually meant to be used for when you have a thicker paper? I'm so glad you did this one, because I always thought that multicut was meant to be used when you want multiple copies of a certain cut(like, I thought you were gonna end up with four A's from this). Glad I watched this! TFS!
Very cool! I wouldn't have thought that the multicut would have done that...I thought that it made multiples of the same shape! And that I could use my regular blade...I thought I had to buy the deep cutting blade! Thank you for the videos!

I thought that the Cricut Create had the same buttons as the Expression. Do you have that one or the small Cricut?

Only if you are cutting really thick chipboard. The multicut feature was made to work on regular chipboard. HTH!

Well, I think multicut is mainly for chipboard like paper. Your cardstock will work just fine with the regular cutting.
I'm so glad I could help!
