  • holy crap at the end..that was a mouth full

  • "Twenty" not "Twenny"! :@

  • @FormulaVid I can forgive a little kid for lack of enunciation. Little kids with perfect diction and enunciation are just plain creepy :P

  • @znorth54 you probably got the xlr version. send it back and buy the one that says USB in the title.

  • @znorth54 you bought the XLR verison...

  • GAH STOP MOVING THE MIC! YOU'RE KILLING ME!

  • This child will build our escape pods!

  • I bought mine for $70.89 total!!!! Including shipping and handling! I will send anyone the link who wants it!

  • @TheDumbkid1000 where did you buy it at, how do you like it?

  • dang! WTH! You have awesome parents!

  • Nice review

  • this kid may lead a nation one day...

  • @OmniTechNews

Ok you are amazing on camera, and personnaly I not do the same thing. I think that you will can work in the media.

  • I would agree that the XLR version sounds better. The AT2020 has just a little lest robust sound than my SM58s and less noise too (still love my 58s), but range is better on AT2020 (as condenser mics are more sensitive). After monkeying with the gain controls a bit, I found that it can filter out unwanted noise quite well. I use it with my Blue Icicle and the Shure X2U. So far, I like it. Excellent presentation!

  • Omg... Wtf is this kid gonna be doing at like age 20?

  • man this kid is awesome

  • @OmniTechNews Do you have contracts with the companies where you they send you the product and you review it?

  • wat shock mount do u use

  • Top review little buddy, sounds great

  • I have this mic except its an xlr version. It works well I have recorded voice and acoustic guitars with it sounds decent with a good pre-amp and interface.

  • I hope my kid is smart like you,and comes with a British accent..Big props nice review.

  • Waw your friggin awesome

  • You sound smarter with a british accent.. ie this kid!

  • @FurionLord HAHAHHA .... I bet he takes a smoke after every video

  • Dude you are the shit!, although i dont so much find this microphone anything special . . i record Vocals for hip hop and i find it to be Muddy. if anyone gets the meaning of that. but i may be using it wrong, like standing to close to it.

  • Wow I actually like this kid he pretty good if not amazing keep it up and great review I think I will go ahead and purchase this mic.

  • this lil kid was breast fed alot!!! but very smart my man!

  • @mr5thave215 haha

  • how did u make it light up like that? Mine doesnt light up but it still works

  • lol, lil kid presentin tha news, but it's pretty kool, i luv tha mic, i think u might need to move it about less and maybe get a windscreen but yeah, i like tha mic.

  • NICE KID UR GOOD

  • CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT TO DO.. WHAT DO YOU USE ASIDE FROM LAPTOP VISTA, A WEBCAM AND AT2020 USB MICROPHONE IN ORDER TO RECORD A GOOD QUALITY SOUND? DO i need speakers, software, mixers? Normally, I don't hear what I recorded til the end of recording and play it back,.... PLEASE HELP!!!

  • Smart lil bastard...lol

  • whts better this or the blue yeti usb microphone???

  • tight kid

  • Thankz The One I Need Then Because I Rap And I Know Somebody That Uses That One And There Quality Is Very Good!

  • great review

  • oh i see where were bumping head with this, im talking about the Usb Mic, your talking about the other one, and yes the one your referring to is 79 USD the usb one is 120 USD

  • Comment removed

  • no, i just bought one of from amazon and it has only dropped to 120

  • yea the other dude didnt get the usb one the xlr one cheaper

  • @JuggernautRecords

why is that though? doesnt the xlr have better quality?

  • the usb is more convinent and i think the quality is the same its just u dont have to buy the phantom power and all that

  • i have the xlr version of this mic and sounds a lot better than the usb version. pre-amp versions are always better

  • @2real2touch where do i get a pre amp to plug it up?

  • @2real2touch well that's a no-brainer. USB mics are made for people who don't have the money to buy pre-amp, studio quality mics or preamps themself.

  • @2real2touch i cant find any reviews on the XLR version! could you maybe make a soundtest of it?

  • @2real2touch Seriously? Because I intend to just buy a usb version and get done with it o___O

  • @2real2touch Well since I was going to go with the USB version but after reading this and some other comments on other videos I have changed my mind what would I need in order to have it run without USB power? I'm going to be using it for voice commentarys/ventrilo but, my friend may use it for music from time to time

  • @2real2touch Ok, what do I need to start recording with the xlr version? I'm thinking of buyng a sound card with pre-amp...something like a ESI U46 XL, but wat kind of cables do I need to start recording? The one they give is a usb and I'm not shure if that sound card has a USB input.

  • Don`t use script, use your own words.

  • I couldn't place this kid's accent...

  • Australian?

  • @0ldSandwich english.

  • wow. this guy's pro.

  • What do you guys use? It wouldn't surprise me to find out you used a teleprompter xD, because you never hiccup during your speech. It consistent throughout. Almost TOO professional. ;)

  • Very nice review.

  • This is incredibly proffesional for such a young kid.

I see a future in you.

  • Great presentation skills and good content, way to go!

  • is this powerful enough to record audio for songs? or do i need external power

  • you don't need phantom power with ANY usb mics (that I know of).

If you're using a non-usb mic you can purchase the 'micmate' which converts a normal mic to usb and provides phantom power

  • Teleprompter ? Just kidding. Great review :)

  • Very well done and thanks--how did you do the Omnitech graphic intro? Very nice

  • i love this microphone

  • Nothing will ever replace my Shure SM58. Nothing.

  • hey do u think the shure sm58 is good for rapping and hip hop and genres like that? cuz im lookin into buying one?

  • It depends if you're trying to perform live or record. It's perfect for live apps because it's pretty much indestructible, but you could find much better mics for recording.

  • Could you PLEASE give me examples of better mics? I've been looking. ;)

  • If you're trying to save money, check out the MXL 990. That'll run around $50. For a little more, the Pacific Pro Audio LD-1 is one of the best mics for the money I've ever used, and that costs around $100. I wouldn't use either of those live, and that being said, an SM58 is always a solid mic to have around just in case.

  • Hey Mr. HappyHotDogLove, I am sure you cannot do one better. As for the kid in the video review, Excellente, my man, Excellente! Bravo pa ti!

  • not 2 grazy bout the script. u sound robotic!

  • I like the scripting. Now you just need to work on your lighting :-)

  • awesome, i think i may need to purchase myself one :D

  • it will take time to process to HD. It takes about 10-30mins.
