Heya. We used two cameras - a Canon 550D and a Sony HXR-NX5P. I used Premiere Pro for editing and After Effects for all the visual effects.

question.. great vid, and loved the vfx work.. but at the end when he drops on the couch, there's a 360s connected to the TV.. when he sees it's missing, the power cord is for an original 360. :) also the xbox that is dropped off the bridge is a white original 360.. not a black 360s :D

Haha... yeah... the shot of me dropping onto the couch was filmed around 2 months before the close up of me noticing it's missing, so we kind of screwed up with the continuity.

We made it Harry Potter vs. Halo because it's much more interesting and much more fun to make than just guns vs. guns or magic vs. magic. Not every mashup has to stay in the same genre... IMO it's much more entertaining if they don't.
