I am Herb in the commercial. I'm reading these criticisms that attack both the drug AND ME. I don't get that kind of faceless negativity. Anyway, for the record, I speak from the heart; Chantix has been a miracle for me, and I don't have any professional affiliation with Pfizer. My wife is in the commercial and we both wear wedding rings. The book I was reading was Cold Mountain and I wear bifocals, hence the lifted forehead. Sadie, our dog, joined the spot but there was no "licking"?! Namaste

Congrats Herb! You did the right thing! Have ya'll ever looked at the side effects listed on ANY prescription you pick up from the pharmacy? They have to state ALL possible side effects because someone will come back and sue them if they don't. The risks outweigh the known effects of smoking. Again, great job Herb! Next time you get a prescription for ANYTHING, read the side effects literature. They are all scary. The FDA requires that if a doctor gets even one report of side effects, then the doctor must report it. Once reported, it must be published. I've talked to dozens upon dozens of healthcare providers. Of hundreds of prescriptions, just one or two side effects were mentioned. If anyone notices side effects, they should immediately stop taking the medicine and call their doctor.
