I had to work on Loma Vista Place one day. I couldnt find the place. Drove back and forth reading and re-reading the Thomas Guide. The directions said to enter from Alesandro. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. That STAIRCASE WAS Loma Vista Place. I thought I was going to have a heart attack hauling tools and materials up and down those freaking stairs. 3 back and forth trips just to get everything TO the property. Next time, I will charge more.
may be beautiful but not for the weak or dissabled...at night may be a little vulnerable for anybody and a dreamworld for muggers....plenty of places to escape and hide,,,

Fascinating video. I remember going to LA for the first time and wanting to see the music box steps. We did not have a map, and only rough directions so it took us a while + a few false alarms.
I was so excited when we finally found them, except it was dark!
We went back during the day so we could take pictures and compare the cracks in the steps with the Laurel & Hardy movie.

Laurel and Hardy did SO many funny skits... the music box steps with that piano sounding as it rolled back down to square one is one of the funniest.
