Thanks for sharing. I grew up on the Hawkins. R.I.P to the Bishop. I sung in choirs that Stanley Thurston has conducted. It is great to see he is still making an impact in Choral music. I would've loved to have sung in this choir.

She was truly a great woman of God and even though her body was ravaged by cancer, she never doubted God. I taped the "Marvelous" video from Gospel Videos on cable a few years ago. They played it almost every other show and I know I must have at least 4 VHS tapes with Bishop Hawkins singing this with the Love Center Choir. I made sure I kept all of them too-and I watched that video every week. A few years ago I made a mistake and bought "The Mississippi Mass Choir" DVD and decided to keep it. When I pslayed it, I noticed Bishop Hawkins singing on a few of the selections....Yes, I jumped for joy

I have loved this man since I was a little girl; his voice captivated me. And to this day, I have loved him more. My Fav is Marvelous, when I first heard it. It brought me to tears. My sister sings with Edwin Hawkins Music and Arts Choir and that blesses me so. I will miss him so much. I felt like I lost a family member.
