To be clear, I personally believe that the war should end because we have no clear way of "wining" and repeating the Vietnam War today. But I find it so funny, but scary, that women of the Afgan Women's Mission are for the withdrawal of the US forces. Don't they know what would revert to the 80s and 90s again overnight? We don't send troops to Saudi Arabia, that's where some of the terrorists are/were from! and we are training forces there...but who knowes where thier loyalties are, so in theory, in reality, we could be traing Al-Quida/Taliban operatives...this is basic military tactics 101! My late uncle, who retired with 22 years in the Army, decided to retire because of the Degradation that he was seeing in the higher levels and in the training of new recruits. He had expressed that the Army was not as strong as the Army he knew when he joined.

To be clear, I personally believe that the war should end because we have no clear way of "wining" and repeating the Vietnam War today. The reason I said: "The american people need to fix the problem, stop counting on politicians..." is based on my own experience. I grew up in Venezuela and look what we have in power now? Even though the News-media says he is a dictator, the reality is that he was elected by the 80% poor and lower working class. Hugo Chavez' power is based on "hate". The opposition party's power is based on "fear". These two extremes support each other just like Dems and Republicans today.

Anything in between will not be tolerated. How does the young can get into politics? Look at the recent presidential/vice-presidential history of the USA: Bush (Reagan), Bush (Reagan), Bush, Clinton, Clinton, Bush, Bush, and up to the last election Clinton was a strong presidential candidate. She is the Secretary of State. Still counting on politicians is not an option. The system is broken just like healthcare, housing, and the economy.

We don't send troops to Saudi Arabia, that's where some of the terrorists are/were from! and we are training forces there...but who knowes where thier loyalties are, so in theory, in reality, we could be traing Al-Quida/Taliban operatives...this is basic military tactics 101! My late uncle, who retired with 22 years in the Army, decided to retire because of the Degradation that he was seeing in the higher levels and in the training of new recruits. He had expressed that the Army was not as strong as the Army he knew when he joined.
Now we see that our military can't even deal with an impoverished nation like Afghanistan, after spending twice as much time as we did in WW2. I finally see what he was referring to and it is pathetic and an embarrassment to Americans!

When he was out of the race I supported Barack hoping he'd get them out quicker than McCain.
Now that McCain has said he doesn't support Barack - he would've sent more troops in & had an open-ended obligation, I know I was right.
