Ok. I´m just back and had a looooong talk to the quality control guys. They do fine. The best is, that the customers are currently very happy with MB! Ask the Truck drivers about their Actros.
But honestly: i love the vintage Alphas, Ferrari, Fiat Dino, MG. Austins, Morgans,etc as well. ;-))
Saying Germans are best at everything would be pushing it but you don't see people lining up to buy Russian cars, or Egyptian refrigerators, or Colombian chef knives, or Pakistani rockets.

Well there are a few exceptions, The Cubans roll the best cigars on the planet, the Swiss have the best banks/ watches and the Americans make the best missiles.
@alexkidu what about the Italians? They built Maseraties, Alfa Romeos, Lamborghini, Ferraris, Fiat. The americans, well, maybe the only good cars they have azre Ford and chrysler.
A week ago i have seen this model ( a ssk i asked the owner ) at the gas station. And guys i have to say that the sound is incredible. No it is unbelievable incredible.
No porsche ferrari or lambo is in the near of a ssk. I asked the owner how much cylinder his car has ( I thought smth with 16but it sounded like V32 with 10000 cui^^ ) and he answerd 6..... I couldnt belive.....

i sat in one of these when i was 8 (so 6 years ago)
the owner drove with me 140 km per hour
it was amazing

Just a shame that new mercedes have corrosion problems and chinese build quality......Fiats are better these days.
