Skorzeny didn´t deserve the Knight's Cross!!! His Knight's Cross is a shame for Germanys true war heroes! It was the paratroopers who rescue Mussolini. Skorzeny is pure proganda - nothing else! Skorzeny is the biggest fake hero of all times!

Great post, danke! Skorzeny's life was truly amazing and I can live with that statement because he was acquitted of war criminal charges in the west so I do no have a guilty conscience about admiring a Nazi. Great book to read, they should make a movie about him.

The Fieseler Storck had room for one passenger only, but the burly commando hero, Skorzeny insisted that he wud accompany Il Duce at any cost and he did it. What a marvellous piece of commando operation. Sieg Heil from India.

On 26 AUG 1942Indian volunteers undertook an oath of allegiance to Adolf Hitler..In September were incorporated in the 950th infantry regiment of the Wehrmacht.More or less 3000 people.Some were in the 16th Luftwaffe Field Division.The remains,surrender at the shores of the Bodensee on the Swiss Border,1945.
