Oh.. pressing would = no fiber. This is ideal for inorganic produce as all the toxins stay in the pulp aka fiber according to research of Dr. Norwalk. And the juice is still ok. Clean wild and organic foods are best for blending as thoses fibers would sweep up any toxins in people. Ohh the choices.
If the juice was pressed it would last up to three days in fridge. No need to freeze. Essene Gospel of Christ says its best to avoid cooked and frozen foods. Freezing and cooking ruptures cellular structure and changes nutritional and energetic value as well as how the body deals with it.. in the case of cooked food it is leukocytosis as mentioned in Viktor Kulvinskas 21 century book. Though the system you have set up there is wayyy better than the SAD diet most tolerate.
Started doing this quite awhile ago to easily get more vegetables into my system. Incidently, use organic as much as you possibly can and avoid the insane amount of assorted chemicals that are found in the typical store-bought produce. Assorted vegees such as spinach, celery, carrots, broccoli etc, mixed with some berries, apples etc, give you 'loads' of nutrition & taste pretty darned good. Plus, you'll feel great drinking these "green smoothies" Your body will absolutely love you for it!
hey great idea just one question, does all the properties stay? (vitams, minerals, etc) I know that some of the properties just don't stay much time when a juice is pepared, due to the oxigenation. hope some one can answare this. thanks for the idea
@DrakoLeonamal It's not as ideal as drinking the juice or smoothie right away but it's the next best thing. Especially if you get it in the freezer right away.
great idea! is that a vitamix I see? I have one and love it! have you ever shopped at Tiano's market in Pickering? great organic produce and groceries!
@envirosponsible You seriously need to check out Tiano's! Saves you the trip from going all the way to Toronto! It's just at Hwy#2 and Rougemount in Pickering. Also (not sure if your interested) Bruno's meats next door to Tiano's sells Free Range & Organic Meats!!! So it's kind of like a one stop shop for your groceries! I go once a week. Love the produce! Hope to see you next month! The boyfriend & I plan on coming out to your meet up! Will bring the baby too :) See you then!
i did the reboot program a few months ago, and i think the biggest drawback was definitely the prepping before each shake. it really starts to become a chore everytime you want to juice. I think this is a good idea. I wondered if you just pop a tray full of cubes into a glass and kinda just crunch the cubes on the go? Or do you use a blender just to make a cold juice. Even with blender clean up, i think it's a huge time saver. (cleaning the juicer is the worst!)
Similar principle when I buy Strawberries or any berries in bulk and they ripen. I freeze them before they spoil then add them in my blender for smoothies when needed.

@TreehuggerLoveEarth It is a vita mix. We've never shopped there but will have to check it out. Better than going to downtown.
