@123DROCK it depends on the natural lighting, and whether the weapon has a flash hider at the muzzle. You're much more likely to see a muzzle flash at night, or if you stand at a certain angle looking at the weapon being fired.

suppressors main point is not to be silent it is to hide the flash so u can't see where the shot is coming from. Silencers are for making it to where you cant hear it.

That is a horrible firing position. The guy on the firing line should have corrected his position prior to firing. Should be directly behind the weapon system with legs apart to create a stable platform. There is a reason they make machine gun tripods in this manner folks.

when shooting a heavy recoil weapon like that or a machine gun, postion yourself directly behind the weapon with your legs spread attempting to make a triangle. this will absorb the recoil, reduce muzzle rise, and get your sights back on target and getting you back in the fight. im not being a dick...just trying to better inform you. happy shooting.

So no I'm not stupid, because you couldn't silence the RPG itself but if you could fine a way to silence the missile when it explodes you could silence the entire thing, because it's not the pressure of the barrel that makes the noise like on any fire arm, but it's the rocket and ordinance itself. It's like silencing a grenade.
