  • @TheInbornMechanics You've got to be the most ignorant fuck on here bitchin because some teenagers are listening to good music. then telling them to piss off and go listen to linkin park? Wtf

  • I wonder were the lads listening to "Diary of a madman" around the time of writing this.

  • @jointz999 I noticed that too...

  • @jointz999 I listened to this for the first time in years today and noticed the same thing. It's pretty much the same riff, there's no way it was accidental.

  • born in 1990 thank god ,,,,nirvana ,,green river,,soundgarden ,,alice in chains are like the beatles of my generation to me (X_x)

  • you know what i hadn't heard of these until, well just now ive been listen to alice in chains and more well known grunge bands, but this shits fucking heavy !!!!!

  • Where would we be without this band? Mark Arm definitely one of the greatest vocalists of all time

  • "Grunge" was coined by people working at Sub Pop records, not by the media :)

  • My favorite green river song by far

  • @TheInbornMechanics i spelled "cobain" wrong in that last section. whoops

  • @TheInbornMechanics Just to clarify, I am not pretending to be a grunge (oops...) disciple. I'm a conservative, an athlete, like the look of a good polo shirt, and probably would have been hated by Kurt Coabain, which kinda sucks for me.... but whatever. Anyways, don't jump on me because I'm in adolescence now instead of in the 90's.

  • @TheInbornMechanics Also I do relate to grunge (ooo that nasty corporate word again) because it speaks to the human condition, not just generation x. also, the musical world today is not as different to the late 80's early 90's as you might think. Instead of glam rock dominating the radio, it's really bad bubblegum techno-pop or whatever you call it.

  • @TheInbornMechanics . I don't listen to music because it is characteristic of a particular mind-set (i.e. a person who thinks he or she is a punk because that person listens to punk rock. so not what the genre set out to accomplish...). Also, please don't be ridiculous and not categorize 1990's seatle based music as grunge. Yes, I know it is a term coined by the media, and yes I know a "true fan" would never use it. However, grunge is the term that stuck, so I use it.

  • @TheInbornMechanics hey calm down big guy i never said, nor do i pretend, to be involved in the grunge movement. I love the genre for its musical, emotional, and intellectual characteristics. No, I am not trying to be vintage (such an obnoxious term by the way...). I am not trying to identify myself with a particular time period, or anything else for that matter.

  • @TheInbornMechanics Unless your name is fucking Stone Gossard or Mark Arm you have no more claim to this music than I do. Usually most of the original grunge fans are happy that the younger generation, instead of listening to the emo shit and feaux-rock that is killing music, actually is going back and listening to the good stuff even though it's not popular. Apparently, you're just an asshole.

  • @TheInbornMechanics And you're what's known as an elitist douchebag.

  • grunge love born in 93

  • My request would be "The Further I Go" by Mudhoney

  • @dale420gribble It will be on Youtube in a hour, I the time allows it =)

  • @dale420gribble And especially for U, its on, enjoy it ;)

  • good fucking song grunge love born in 90

  • grunge love born in 93

  • Its really hard to make it all happen again because there isnt much we can do now because everybodys already done it.

  • Grunge love born in '94

  • i only know 3 people who actually understand grunge....its sad :( i wish it was still the 90s

  • And who are they?

I need a time machine man, go back and see all this stuff... just the greatest stuff out there :)
