  • fantastic Battson! i thought the voice sounded familiar.

  • sweet rifle, excellent choice in cartridge, beautiful scenery, and superb music 8:06!

  • CHOICE BRO!

  • beauty rifle ... and one of the best hunting vids on youtube.... wanganui is awesome hunting area ....

  • How many km did you walk on that day? I want to go to some spots I just dont think I'm fit enough for it. Did 10km once and I was completely buggered, hit the wall as they say.

  • It's not really the distance, it's the difficult country which makes it tiring. It was probably only 8-9km.

  • This Aint Tha Wanganui River

  • Umm, yes it is... - you are obviously uncultured, and from the North Island - there are two Wanganui rivers in NZ.

  • awesome vid dude, makes me wanna cum bak to nz for sum more hunting! neva hunted up the wanganui river! maybe nx time...

  • Mate good job on the video

  • Alsome video. How did you get up there? Helicopter?

  • Great still shots. Awesome video, well put together. Wicked country, hopefully when this weather sorts its self out i will find myself staring out over the alps.

  • Good sh*t mate - get amongst it and post a video!

  • great vid, good too see there are still some animals about, makes me wanna get home pretty quick

  • Very nice video. Well made and everything. And it must have been a great hunting experience! Could´nt help noticing your AICS-stock. Could you give us some details regarding the gun(Caliber, barrel, optics etc...)

  • Yep its a good one alright!

I have a 7mm SAUM remmington sendero in the stock, and a holland QD muzzle brake. Those optics are Millett, but due to be updraged to IOR or Leupold.

  • I have a Leupold Mk4 6,5-20x50 with the TMR-reticle on my Rem700 in the AICS-stock. A very nice combination. Good luck on the upgrade!

  • How do u like the SAUM. i got it in 300.

  • It's great eh - hardly moves a mm when it goes off, very accurate.

  • very good footage and a well put together video matey. Tripod wouldn't go astray - bit shakey on it at times - but well done. I have only ever made it as far as Blue lookout in that valley - one of my main regrets is never having made it further up as you have done. Well done.

  • Awesome footage
