Davod Azad (born October 6, 1963 in Urmia, Iran) is an Iranian singer of Azeri descent and a prominent master of Iranian classical music and Azeri folk music.
He is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and vocalist. Mastering in the Iranian classical music, the Azeri folk music, the Ancient Persian music, and the Persian Sufi music.
In his recent work " The Divan of Rumi & Bach", Davod Azad joins Iranian Traditional music with Bach's famous melodies.

well in the beginning of the video the guy says it means "carry me/lead me light of God", but Ali does not mean God, but NOOR means light and it sounds like the guy is saying NOOR ALI MADAD. I duno. I dont think Qoo Ali Mahmad means anything.....
Loved it.Had never seen an Iranian sing and perform in a Hindu temple, or Ashram/Gurduwara. Eventhough "Khaleh Hindu" is used and refered to quite frequently in persian mystic and Sufi poerty. Found it very interesting and enlightening. Thanks for the video.
