Veteran is basically enemies are super accurate, and as soon as they spot you they shoot like 5 times at you at the rate of like 20 bullets a second, so yeah you die pretty quick, but that's because of the accuracy mainly, not to mention there are a bunch of enemies nearing the end.

whos using the most up-to-date map pack? uh i cannot believe how great it truly is! its far too pricey however thus i just downloaded it of mw2forfreeZinfo (replace Z with . ) the other week. i'm gonna use the money i saved to get a brand-new mouse
the key to this is to take out the other boats as QUICK as posisble b4 you pass up the houses on the left (thats normally when the boats AND helicopter get u at the same time) if u can get rid of the boats b4 u pass those houses its easier to avoid the helicopter without dying

This mission is easy.In the part around 1:10, just go over to the giant rocks and manaeuver through them. The harder part was right before and after 2:02, cause the mini guns, the helicopter, and the guys behind are all shooting. Took me like 20 minutes to beat this lvl though. :D

RE: Helicopter - The enemies on the rafts are more dangerous than the helicopter. Keep your distance from them, Price will yell at you that Shepherd is getting away, but you'll catch up to him at the rapids.
at the end, the boat got stuck in the rapids and we already shot the heli down and we stayed there for about 30 seconds and it counted as sheperd getting away
Also he missed to go straft almost like sidesteping except go full speed and try to shoot if theres boats ahead of you. they expect you to be BEHIND Sheperd and i mean RIGHT BEHIND.
if enyone needs help on this mission here some edvice keep one turning and evadeing bullets and DONT drive infront of enemy boats ore they will kill you fast even if you try to evade i hope i helpd somebody
I'm stuck on this mission on veteren been doin it million times.. I never said he aint skilled! He doesnt seem to get shot enough for veteren.. I cant get outta the cave without bein bloody practically the whole way.. N if it is 2 shots... it certainlty feels like 1.. (ur getting shot at by multiple directions so bullets are hitting u at the same time) The main part i'm stuck at is the bridge with the rpg.. way too many shots comin at u then. Tried keeping left and swervin n shooting n all!
I know this mission is terrible and unfair but you'll get through it eventually if you keep going at it. You won't even realize how far you are then you'll get that first checkpoint and then you basically win automatically there's not much after the first checkpoint after you leave the cave area. Don't give up =D

@lebaneseridah if you listened to the commentary closely you can tell that he did the level multiple times and recorded until he actually got to the next part without dying. saves time that way

Yeah no shit. There is no way this is on veteran. My favorite part is when it tells you to stay out of the open when you are wide out in the open and there isn't anything to go behind and get instant death from the chopper gun.
the fact that in this mission you're able to kill enemies that easily on the boat even though you're driving at the same time seems very unrealistic, but same with the snow mobile, the game had to make it simple enough in a way so you won't fail the mission especially on veteran and if you're not able to kill enemies as easily in these types of missions, the mission becomes practically impossible to finish
I just completed the game on Veteran and apart from 'loose ends' mission this wasnt that bad. i personally think world at war was much harder on veteran and i have managed to do teh last waw missions on veteran.
it is but you have to stay out of the open and kinda move around left and right when the chopper comes for you. and shoot. if you do that its a bit easier.

Actually, you play as both American and British troops...You play as Gary "Roach" Sanderson for most of the game who is an American trooper, for the Untied task unit 141, and as Captain "Soap" Mactavish, a scottish SAS captain
Task Force 141 is made up of multiple nationalities. If you look on the arms of the other teammates that aren't important to the storyline you'll see them wearing other flags like US and Australia. Roach's nationality isn't stated, it's probably just suppose to be whatever you want it to be.

That wouldn't be valid because Soap(you) was airlifted already. It's not like Price would have been in a different helicopter either, If i remember there was only one, but it'd be a waste to put one person in a heli when it's designed to fit several.

1. Your a failure at veteran if you need a guide for the Endgame. It was easy on MW1, it's easier on MW2.
2. Price died in MW1. They TRIED to revive him but the game suggests he died. Maybe they wanted a surprise for the players by saying "Hey look, he survived!" and cause this entire argument you guys are having. Or maybe as LeeJ said, he's in all the CoD's as a trademark. Like Final Fantasy and Chocobo's.

No, it's luck and learning the enemy.
That you die 20 thousand times on veteran doesn't mean you suck, it's usually the game cheating.
As they said in veteran mode you die in reasons beyond your control, which is 90% of the times true.

Fun singleplayer, but waaaaay waaay too damn easy. Only took about 4-5 hours on veteran..

the fact that in this mission you're able to kill enemies that easily on the boat even though you're driving at the same time seems very unrealistic, but same with the snow mobile, the game had to make it simple enough in a way so you won't fail the mission especially on veteran and if you're not able to kill enemies as easily in these types of missions, the mission becomes practically impossible to finish

I just completed the game on Veteran and apart from 'loose ends' mission this wasnt that bad. i personally think world at war was much harder on veteran and i have managed to do teh last waw missions on veteran.

Task Force 141 is made up of multiple nationalities. If you look on the arms of the other teammates that aren't important to the storyline you'll see them wearing other flags like US and Australia. Roach's nationality isn't stated, it's probably just suppose to be whatever you want it to be.

For your information I have completed the game on veteran and Ive been playing cod for about 4 years so I assume Im more experienced than you and would know that loading screens are at the start & ends of levels and cut scenes are while you're in the game but not controlling your character (they do also count as gameplay). 1. Your a failure at veteran if you need a guide for the Endgame. It was easy on MW1, it's easier on MW2.
2. Price died in MW1. They TRIED to revive him but the game suggests he died. Maybe they wanted a surprise for the players by saying "Hey look, he survived!" and cause this entire argument you guys are having. Or maybe as LeeJ said, he's in all the CoD's as a trademark. Like Final Fantasy and Chocobo's.
