אני, אישית, חושב שהייתי מתחרפן לגמרי ושוקע למצולות אם הייתי מקשיב לרדיוהד כמתבגר. לצערי ולשמחתי, לא ידעתי באמת מי הם עד גיל 21.

למוסיקה שלהם, ובפרט למילים של יורק, יש הרבה השפעה עלי. אני מוצא באמנות שלהם פן מאד רוחני, שמדבר אלי ישר למעמקי הנשמה. ישנם כמה שירים, ואולי אלבומים שלמים, שלדעתי לא היו עושים לי טוב בגיל העשרה, אלא היו מורידים אותי עמוק אל תוך הייאוש והדיכאון.

אני מבינה אותך לגמרי לגבי ההשפעה של המוסיקה שלהם עלייך, אבל עדיין, לא הייתי אומרת ייאוש ודיכאון.

באמת קשה לי להבין איך שיר של רדיוהד יכול לייאש או לדכא אותך, אני מניחה שזה באמת קשור לגיל, ולאדם..

א - צודקת, גם לדעתי זה אינדיבידואלי.

ב - אולי ייאוש ודיכאון הן באמת מילים חריפות מדי, אבל וואלה - קחי שיר כמו fitter happier לדוגמא, שעדיין מקפיא לי את הדם.

או שירים כמו how to disappear completely. ו like .spinning plates אלו דברים שלא קל לשמוע, לדעתי. הם נוגעים בעצבים חשופים. ובשיתוף עם רגשות שכבר ככה מקוננים באדם - זה מהר מאד יכול להגיע גם לעצבות וריקנות.

אני לגמרי מבינה,זה לא יאומן איך הם מצליחים להשפיע ולגעת בנפש של אדם באמצעות המוסיקה שלהם.

אבל עדיין קשה לי להסכים איתך על המילים האלה,ייאוש,דיכאון,ריקנות.

אני פשוט לא רואה את זה הגיוני, כל רגש,כלstate of mind שהם אי פעם הכניסו אותי אליו,

לא גרם לי להרגיש רע, זה תמיד פועל לגמרי הפוך, גם אם זה שיר מדכא, על עובדות שאף אחד לא באמת רוצה להודות בהם,

לא הייתי מנסחת ככה את ההרגשה, הלוואי ויכולתי להסביר את עצמי טוב יותר.

ישנם שירים (לא רק של רדיוהד, מן הסתם) שפשוט מעוררים את הצד הזה שבאדם. מן כאב אישי ופרימיטיבי ששייך רק לו. והם מצליחים לגעת בנקודה היסודית הזו ולתת לה קול ומנגינה. זה מה שכל כך מדהים במוסיקה מהסוג הזה, לדעתי.

אני בגיל העשרה, ואין שום ספק שאני יודע איך זה להרגיש עצוב ומדוכא....

ולשמוע שיר כמו how to disappear completely, שהוא בערך השיר הכי מדכא בעולם, יכול לגרום להרגיש הרבה הרבה הרבה יותר טוב....

i totally 100% agree. Yoval is a great pianist and he's been playing for a really long time. And i think it was worth it. I play an intrument too and i could never make up a song like that! :( maybe i will be able to if i practise more....
