  • hey mate that is 1 nice VN i seen u a couple of years ago at the easternats. It does a fucking good skid too. Ive got a VN355 ive been trying to find the groupA twin trottle bodies u wouldnt know of any were around melb that sells them?? and who does the tunning on ur car??

  • dasikotm thanks for the correction - spinning into 3rd is no probs, but being able to roll on at speed and torch the rears is impressive you have to admit. I had a mark11 chaser with 1jz (14psi, exhaust, pod etc) and 5 speed running 265's - as it came on boost in 2nd (roll on)it would just step out and I could snik 3rd and just wind down the road. Gotta love jap power/light weight combo, but nothing beats forced cubes andf a v8 on the limiter!!

  • 200rwkw or 268rwhp - sounds tuff thanks to dropping the pipes I suggest, but in reality it is the same as you see out of a stock 260 clubbie - you would have the VN though as it actually sounds like a V8 and is 200kg lighter than the clubbie which is just plane boring.

    Don't get excited with the roar, the VN aint exactly about to turn the tyres in top at 100kph, but good old girl all the same.

  • have another look, its 280rwkw ;) my 250 rwhp 200sx spins into 3rd at 120k with a lsd and 2x 255s on the back (half a meter of tyre width : )

  • RetyagTube you do your home work i have seen many gtrs that run 10s with standerd internals with just bolt on parts a gtr is 1 of the best cars ever made i wouldnt swap a gtrs spare tyre for a fkn vn

You may be right.But you show me a GTR without problems, show me a GTR that hasnt had the boost wound up to enth degree to crack a 10.8 quarter. This car did and did it easy. This car is normally aspirated. No snails, no Hairdryers just raw power! Do your homework before you come to class.

  • This setup is awesome. Anybody who knows anything about running in the 10's knows that Kw dont mean shit if you cant get the traction to the tarmac.This car does and does it easy. It would be pointless to make more KW's if its going to be all over the road, would make the time slower. Awesome stuff Steph. The boys at MSC are going to give the times at Heathcote and Calder a good shake and raise some eyebrows in the near future. You can bank on that.
