  • i think the gold one sounded better

  • GOLD GOLD GOLD GOLD !!!!

    silver ? :/

    FAiL!

  • sliver squeaked a lot but it had better rhythm

  • Silver

  • gold was better

  • you both suck

  • Silver I play a silver sax to

  • silver

  • Silver wins...

  • I <3 asians but not the other dude..... jk

  • 205 people wish they could play like them

  • you know............ i actually enjoyed it. fuck you haters!

  • And then, out of nowhere, MARCHING-MOTHERFUCKING-EUPHONIUM!!!!!

  • Wow. Where was the tempo? :|

  • GAY VS. GAY

  • @TheRyand123 happy versus happy? you sir make no sense

  • Comment removed

  • Its obvious the silver sax is better!

  • pointless and dumb

  • So... where is the "better one" you said you would have up in the description. If I got the sheet music for this, BLACK SAX would woop your butt. yeah thats right. black.

  • learn how to play the sax decent than you make a vid

  • I thought Asians were supposed to be good.........

  • Get a Life

  • gold was flat and slurred every note

silver was sharp and sounded like a freakin duck

    they both suck

  • aha 2 faggots against themselves ahh come on ...

  • Asian won.

  • 0:37 was the funniest part

  • Comment removed

  • Well at least theyre still better than Kenny G..

  • A classic battle of Asian versus Indian.

    trololololololololo

  • silver

  • The silver sax was way the heck to bright. I'd suggest listening to David Sanborn and imitating him to get a good metal mouthpiece sound on an alto. The gold one was better but i would do the same. If not switch to something like a Meyer 6 m or a link tone edge. They give you a good warm bright sound instead of something that is terribly out of control.

  • Wow.......no

  • ...No comment.

  • I'm sorry to say; but this sucks fat hairy testicles

  • metal mouthpiece on alto..........

  • Inconsistent tempo, it sounds like you're both beginners trying to remember sheet music, and when you screw up you just resort to the most basic 'fancy' thing you know: A fall.

Learn how to make the instrument sing, then try again.

  • yeah you met your equal alright...

  • so i know this is a very dificult song but your sound is terrible sorry

  • son tan malos que los dos se dan en la madre!!!

  • I liked it-you will only get better as you mature and practice

  • what a waste of metal mouthpieces -__-

  • WTF?

  • the "gold" one (aka brass) was flat

  • they were slurring too much :(

  • last time i checked...it doesnt matter on the sax...it matters on the player...

  • wtf? :S

  • wtf this is yakety sax?

  • ..... neither

  • cruel

  • THIS IS MURDER!!!!!

  • ASIAN Vs INDIAN

  • They both have bad tone and execution. I never preferred a metal mouthpiece on my alto anyway.

  • @DowntownHarmonics its used for jazz

  • @DowntownHarmonics same here

  • silver definatly wins

  • ladiesssssss and gentleeeee man the moment we all been waiting for. the winner is is is is my dickkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • @kingofduhill. Actually to get better tone you want to use LOTS of mouthpiece. The squeaking goes away if you PRACTICE.

  • anyone know where to get music for this?

  • That tone and tonguing is unmatched on any level.

  • IMO you both know how to play... u just need to adjust ur mouthpiece... meaning either push in or out and make sure u have ur reed put on properly... you have the quickness and talent to play... just a little advice on the sound... good job however...

  • Why the hell would you even post shit like this?

  • and the winner is....

    my ass.

  • @PP1969GR See also: The dislike bar

  • gold? brass?

  • what the hell.

  • This is not saxophone playing. This is an early tv video game soundrack. In short, it was horrific.

  • @nuclear944 watch?v=qRPq2PEiyM0&feature=related

  • @nuclear944 what do you mean? yakety sax is a piece of music and definitely is not merely a "tv video game soundtrack" and i thought they did pretty well on the video itself

  • to much squeaking put less of your mouthpeice in your mouth

  • ouch. that was bad

  • tonging is a little soft. just sayin'

  • silver is better!!

  • Where's the growl?

  • wow everyone they're clearly young and inexperienced. give 'em a break.

  • Sequel: Challenger appears, black nickel

  • The gold sax was better, but needs to work on his tone. The silver sax needs a higher reed level or something.

  • NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sucks... ¡¡¡

  • both of them suck

  • ppl plz it doesn't make the instrument a musician so plz GO BACK HOME GET YOURSELF SOME DECENT TOUNGING! AND DON'T STIFFEN YOUR LIPS SILVER GUY ... and do some scales so you can finally have same decent tempo before doing complex tempos

  • ....... I choose the epic sax guy

  • Squeak squeak squeak!

  • yakety sax mutha fuckas!!!!! you both suck.

  • gold won ... he was able to ring more meldoy out of his horn..

although i secretly wish it had been silver...but silver had no soul

  • As a saxophone player three years into college, I'd likely chose the Silver saxophone over the Gold, the Silver has a more pronounced and enunciated sound, the tonguing was rather beautiful in my opinion whilst the Gold seemed to slur some of the notes and lose tempo. The Gold does have sound to it, it's just not as pronounced as the song should have been.

  • You both suck but if I ABSOLUTELY have tp choose, I choose the silver

  • yeh sorry guys but i agree with timbit you missed notes and played wrong notes while squeaking. but i must say that doubling sounded pretty dam sweet, im trying to teach my self that now and it is flaming hard. anyway i think keep at it and u guys will b sure awesome at it one day.

  • in my opion in the worls of saxophones i pick gold because im weird but in reality it will always be sliver.

  • this was horrible...

  • SHIT GOLD SAX

  • My advice: Learn to double tongue.

  • fate cacà il cazzooooooooo!

  • THIS. WAS. AMAZING.

    Uber-epic.

  • @RomeoReject23 are you on crack?

  • @drumnbass91 No, not that I recall. I can see how the concept of someone having a different opinion than yours might confound you and then lead to drug assertations.

  • @RomeoReject23 oh how cute. You're all defensive. suck it up, everyone has different opinions

  • @drumnbass91 I'm pretty sure I just said that others would have other opinions. You're not too observent, are you?

  • i love how whenever someone has the balls to post a video of themselves doing something they like, you get all the closet cases and idiots who cant support themselves let alone show the lack of talent that they have come out and insult them. I say to the sax players, continue to rock on, improve your skill and have fun. Don't let petty fools like people who hide behind monitors and never see the light of day tell you you aren't good. Think of it this way, least you're doing something productive

  • sounds like they're playing on dry reeds and they tongue too frequently and too hard

in my opnion, they both are pretty terible

  • go gold i play the bari its gold to also im also asian oh ya

  • what is the brand of the silver sax?

  • hm ich mag keine chinesen

  • all of you that say they suck i wanna see a vid of you playing it better and insted of telling them they suck give them constructive feedback? you all are dicks.....it sounded nice but the intination was way diferant i think the guy n gold was flat and guy in silver was just a tad sharp.....how you could fix that....guy in gold try pulling the neck strap a lil higher and pushing the mp in a lil and silver dude pull out a lil.....not so hard......

  • @saxking1508 Intonation was the least of there worries. They just don't have the level of musicianship to try to play this song. They are obviously playing on bad set-ups which is causing the squeaking. They need to have better technical capabilities, all around. What you are talking about is the different timbres that they have. For calling yourself "Saxking" you don't know much...

  • i should report this inappropriate

  • Lol preety bad there squekars!

  • stick to math anhd smelling bad

  • The silver saxophone has the tone for the song. But I liked the way the person in the Gold played it ... it sounds more correct.

Either way, you guys both played this song pretty well. It's kind of a hard song to do. =)

  • wow this sucks dick

  • you guys were kinda terrible... tempo kept changing, silver missed alot of notes, gold was kinda slow, silver was squeaky and choppy and gold kinda smashed all the notes together.

  • @YokoX23 Wow! Sheesh! LOL! Tell us how you really feel. Please check out "tom and charlie blue note"

  • U SUCK!!!!!

  • Both suck.

  • wow...besides the notes, squeeks, tempo, and everything else...you guys are really good

  • Yeah work on the notes and the tempo and the... well just everything

  • how did you learn it where is the sheet music?

  • Silver 4tw at everything.

  • Wow percussian is Da'Bomb! Everyone knows that so Mr.Tuba ur thingamobobber sucks ur probably stacking on TWINKIES!!!

  • What a piece of shit...

  • Asian kid is 2 airy indian kid is 2 squeaky

  • SILVER PEFECT

  • TUBA IS MORE BETERERRRRRR LOLOLOLOLOL.

No but really, as a tuba player, I really don't know how good you are in comparison to anyone else. Lol.

  • the gold/brass should try to play louder

  • nice playing!!! i couldn't have done that myself because i dont know how to play the sax!!! lololololololololololololololol!!! but awsome playing! :=)

  • this is crap...

  • the "gold" isn't gold it is brass...

also the silver would win (if he knew how to play it correctly)

  • @death40242 neither would win

My friend and i both play gold altos(and i play tenor :D) I sound a whole lot better because i've played a different sax. It all depends on the player and how he/she holds/plays the damn thing

  • @death40242 your retarded we all know its brass not gold, all it is is coloring....Theres even pink orange and green

  • Ugh, lighten up on the tongue, it sounds unbelievably choppy.

  • its supposed to

  • Nice, but watch your staccato both... ;-) Even if this piece requires really precious tongue, there has to be some room for the air in your ambusher!

  • Yakety Sax Battle Gold Sax vs Silver Sax vs tenor sax

    deivid saxofon tenor

  • Ew.

  • lol

  • Hey, the saxophone is more then a Afro instrument, Im a friggin redneck and I play the tenor, so i think any one who wants to give it a shot should

  • gold sax wins....

  • all that tonguing really slowed it down. Neat though

    !

  • Gold rules!

  • LMAO AT FALL :59

  • do u know what the book that has this song is called?

  • I'm going to see my sax now. =(

  • jejeje ninguno de los dos son buenos... no son los saxos son los chavos, además hay que enboquillar y llevarlos a nivelar...

    suerte!!

  • that sucked really bad... do you guys even know how to growl? wtf?

  • lol thats epic!

  • Its been a pleasure to watch your video.Fun And funny.I can't belive other people gives qruiiques about your playing. They should be gelouse of you, boys.

  • you spelled jealous wrong.

  • they're both bad but gold was better

  • well gold cuz of less squeks

  • its not the plating that determins the skweeks. its the tounging, hes toughing too hard, its common with me too.

  • there tounging sounds kinda crappy.

  • i think they both suck. get good mouthpieces and maybe it wouldnt be so bad.

  • get rid of your mouthpieces. metal does not belong on altos

  • you both suck ass, im sorry. the gold horn is too blended while the silver horn is too sharp and squeaks a lot. my advice is get some good mouthpieces, the right reeds, and go back and practice tonguing.

  • @timbit2011 I'm in the 8th grade and could KILL these dudes at this song

  • @timbit2011 Damn son. heh heh heh Please check out "tom and charlie blue note"

  • @timbit2011 i agree, but i'm pretty sure the gold squeked even more.

  • @timbit2011 this song is freakin tough to nail, so yall should really chill out.

  • @CoJaFlow it's tough to nail, yeah but it's not tough to make it sound decent. tbh this didn't quite cut it. i know because i can play it.

  • i like this video more because of its theatrical and video making components, and less because of the music. it's definitely a cool video; polish up the music and i bet you guys will be able to make even cooler videos :)

  • Please avoid posting crap ^^

  • blank would sure powen al of them ecpically black baritone sax that is king

  • gold

  • SILVER!

(but black would pwn both....especially if it was a tenor)TENORS ARE KING!!!

  • Comment removed

  • silver!!!!!

  • lol

  • in all honesty you both need to work some more on the piece

  • i prefer the Julius Keilwerth saxohone,the silver saxophone:D

  • you're both terrible.

  • Gold!!!!!!!

  • neither.....too many squeaks -I understand that this is a hard song to play well, more practice and less squeak please.

  • Gold, I play it in my school band, and it's odviously that the ligature on the gold on was off a lot and the sound was changed.

  • Silver!!

  • gold pwns

  • both :D

  • silver kicked golds ass

  • silver

  • gold

  • yup yup, silver has a more trebly sound and the gold has a more mellow sound. I think that could just be because of the mouthpeice and reed and stuff right? Idk, i play the tuba.
