    BUT AMAZING SONG.

  • Sooooooooooooooooooo Gooooooooooood!

  • Thank you! Been looking for years for this.

    Gel Moma . Izgreyala / Izgrejala / siren voices / . . .

I heard this in Ghost in the Shell, and some other Japanese anime games . . . they said it was Swedish / Nordic songs. Then I saw Ken Lee / Li for Bulgarian Music Idol, and lead me to Nevena Tsoneva's Delio Haidutin , then to your links. I thought the 300 was a Greek inspired song. Tyler Bates is a fool for not giving recognition to Rhodope music.

  • @Hikaru109Ichijyo Bulgarian folklore is the richest in Europe. Its more than 2000 years old. The bad thing is that all around us steal from us and present it as theirs: Serbian,Greeks,Rumanians even Turkey. But thats not only with music.... if you live in Bulgaria you will understand, otherwise... just enjoy the music that our forfathers left us, left to the world.

  • Gives me the goosebumps!

  • woooww

  • Page on Facebook - The Mystery Of Bulgarian Voices

  • i love this song to death!

i just wish i knew the name of the song that comes before Izgrejala....the one done by the choir.

    does anyone happen to know?

    thanks

  • "...the name of the song that comes before Izgrejala.." its original song Izgreala/gel moma- by Le Mystere des voix Bulgares Grammy winner 1989

  • thank you

  • @fudgekatt I wish I knew too. It sounded amazing.

  • irancite sa izkluchitelni hora.Mnogo si prilichame s tjah i imame obsto minalo-bulgarskijat ezik e s irano-sarmatski proizhod. Irancite znajat koj e Han Isperih.Asparuh i az ostanah udivena ,kogato tuk v sev. durjava v kojato jiveja srestnah iranci koito znajat koj e Isperih

  • @nkoichev

  • @nkoichev its in the comments

  • what the song says

  • Beautiful Music! I burn Incense and Drink Wine when Listening to Azam Ali; It takes me To another Time, away from BULLSHIT Taxes and Racism shit!!

  • WOW! Azam Ali is not just beautiful, she is fantastic in everything! She sings without any accent, even the consonant clusters in Bulgarian! i.e. iZGRejala jaSNa ZVeZDa

  • love it

  • Incredibly beautiful music and vocals!

just makes me move and dance!

  • Bautifull BULGARIAN music! Bulgarians are direct decendants of Bulgars, Slavs and Thracians, so when some of you say that this is Thracian music, remember, that means Bulgarian, or simply Balkan Music!

  • Bulgad,

  • Congratulations Bulgad!

This is a very nice clip. Bulgarian polyphonic voices remind the Eperotic polyphonic voices. Both express circumstances of "Woe is me", sad mourning and veiling sounds known from the Homeric epics to honour the heroes. Balkan was always a center of wars. This particular sounds are Thracian Hellenic in Bulgarian language. I have some few songs in Greek but in the Thracian Hellenic dialect.

This is Global heritage and concerns all of us.

    with love from Greece

    Georgios

  • The Thracian, Eperotic, Sarakatsanian, Illyrian Montenegrines and other autochthonic tribes are the treasure holders of those sounds. Typical Balkan traditional sounds. Souht Bulgarians in Thracia adopted this culture and tradition.

  • It's not stollen - he admited that he took it from "The Mysteries of voices bg" when the makedonists said it was stollen from their own folklore which theyhave created with so much trouble over the centuries))))))) check it out - it's in wiki

  • O yes, and everyting Bulgarian is Macedonian :)))

    Viva Bulgaria!

  • @fir3bla hey IDIOT evetything Macedonian are from BULGARIA !!! UNDERSTAND ??? WRITE HISTORY IDIOT and langugue ''Macedonian'' are from Bulgaria

  • @rudopen !

  • @fir3bla And vice versa. Viva Macedonia!

  • Beautifully thrilling !!!

I love so much the harmonies with female voices.... and this is just amazing. The sound of heaven must be something like this.

I knew Azam Ali from Vas, but wow... I could never imagine this - Bulgarian miracle - It´s so powerful and deep.

And the percussion is just brilliant.... It´s so wonderful watching cultures intertwined. A really beautiful thing.

  • Love this song!!!!!

  • The music also same as Western North of Turkey which is called Trakya.

Even if i don't understand the lyrics, it's a great music to listen to.

  • Wellcome to the balkans !! But i advise Azam Ali to come also in the north of the Danube river;)....Makes me have a little pitty for the occidentals or the US...:( they can just dream and try to reproduce music but...but not to live with this blood.

I'm romanian, but both Romania and Bulgaria have thracyans blood...And both of the music is partial the same at rythm,tunes..nevermind

Izgrejala jasna e svezda it's not from earth...but from heavens

    Blagodarja

  • @DRAGOVODA

Greetings from Bulgaria, komshu :) You're right, South-Eastern Europe is the most interesting part of the world. Se traiasca Romania :)

  • @DRAGOVODA Thracyans,Dacians,Ilirians are Romas, yes suprise for you people, but Arian are among them

  • @DRAGOVODA We ALL have the same amount of salt in our blood! Don't confuse ethnicity with humanity!

  • Fantastic. This is my favourite version. I have the version from le mystere des voix bulgares volume 1 and the version off the Vas album Feast of Silence but I can't find this exact version. Does anyone know where I can get hold of this track? Any help would be great thanks as i'm dying to get hold of it.

  • 1 -Azam Ali was born in Tehran, Iran and grew up in India from the age of four in the small town of Panchgani, a hill station in the state of Maharashtra. There she attended an international co-educational boarding school for eleven years, all the while absorbing India's music and culture throughout her formative years.

  • 2- Shortly after moving to the United States, it became clear for Azam that she wanted to pursue a career in music after falling in love with the Persian santour (hammered dulcimer). Though Azam had an innate gift for singing since she was a child and sang often at home and school functions, she had no particular interest in becoming a vocalist

  • very nice!!

  • yes yes dear fans, I am Bulgarian and I could say it is a pity for those who like this kind of music, because only a small part of it is available on youtube. The folk spirit of the Balkans is amazing and I am more than happy that even foreign people enjoy it. Thanks for the seed!
