@thepeach12345 That's one of the more retarded thing's I've heard. thinking that an engine that's been proven to over 500hp would blow at 400. It's been holding strong.
real nice dude. people shouldn't be saying shit. I mean its a well built car and if is done right anyone should see it and respect it. I mean I don't like trucks, but if I see one that is just done right I will compliment it. everyone deserves a little respect just for building there own car. CARS ARE BUILT NOT BOUGHT!
On the other hand, you do have a 2.3 with cams, IM and other goodies, so I am starting to believe it after all. I just don't see that high of a power on pump gas, unless you are spraying meth.
well, can you please answer my previous question regarding the peak airflow/timing? I have a similar setup, but I am just very lethargic seeing that high of a numbers.. You can also send me a pm if you'd like to keep the #'s private.
I am gonna have to call BS on this dyno chart buddy. If you look closely, e316g compressor map doesn't support more than 36-38lbs/min at 21-23psi, so there is no way you are making 386 to the wheels. Also, mustang dyno reads way lower than any other dyno.
wow nice dsm dude, i owned a 97 gs that color and i loved it:) my 99 gst is a stroker motor like yours, im tryin to break 400hp when i go to the dyno this tuesday
The car is listed as a GSX, but the back wheels definitely aren't spinning. Yeah, the back wheels are on rollers but they're not spinning. The video poster most likely disconnected the rear diff to dyno his AWD car using a front dyno chassis.
Look at the rear rollers, notice how they're spinning? Yea, rear tires are spinning boss. Sorry to bust your bubble, but you are incorrect. Nothing fancy done on this pull.
wow your retarded....i really dont know what to say to someone who says something as stupid as that. k thanks
by the way not too bad of a dyno. any reason why you stuck with a 16g on a 2.3 and not something bigger? hows your a/f ratio too with all that white smoke?
Well, the fast spool up of the 16g was beneficial on the street for more torque, which was what I was after. However gas mileage suffered because of this. The A/F on this run was around 12:1, but white smoke had nothing to do with richness, that was steam / coolant.
Car is currently running a GT3582R HTA and running 125mph traps in the 1/4 on only 28psi.
What injector size are you using and what rare your a/f looking like...looks like a retty fine tune.Good job man...I looking towards that route as a first step in turbo upgrade. I also runnig a stroker set up. only got about 2.8k on motor still stock fuel/turbo :(
1000cc injectors on this run. A/F's were around 12:1. Keep the stock turbo on the engine for the break in period. You will more than likely lose it from the junk in the oil galleys of the fresh engine.
Wow!...i'm going with 660cc/255 wally/FPR and a external wastegate set up. Got a 38mm Tial for free. Just needs a spring. But i really like your numbers. Those are like perfect. Very Very streetable numbers.
What tuning device? If you're not going to use DSMlink, don't bother. The turbo honestly spooled too quickly for me. Was like a t-25 to the stroker motor, and I got sick of it. Upgraded to a 3582R HTA
Yeah. I was goingt oward the SAFC Neo route but i quickly changed my mind and yeah going with DSMlink. I've read the whole website and many other things about it on Tuners. I figured it wiuld be like that. The E3 16g was just going to be a start. But after I was going PTE 50 trim or FP3065. Nice upgrade though. With that turbo and a set of FP3s, you'll be set.
Nice graph, clean car, all the hard work paying off at the dyno...priceless!

Nice dyno man.

@AWDSMified
Seriously? A stock engine is "capable" of 600hp but on a turbo that only supports 400hp it won't make that much. You are a retard.

Who said anything about pump gas on the dyno? This was 93/C16 mix. I do not have a log from the dyno. It was a pull up and make a pull event.

Call BS on it all you want. Robert's (owner of FP) Evo only made 340hp on an Evo white. The numbers are legit whether you believe them or not.
Boosted98gsx 2 years ago
@fran20055 The car made 396tq / 399hp on a dynojet with the same setup.

what was your peak airflow and timing at that dyno pull?
fran20055 2 years ago
this sounds nice! what kind of exhaust?
tkhaab 2 years ago
It's a custom T409 stainless system on a 3" in / out Magnaflow muffler. It's loud, but it spools turbos very nicely.

thanks. you think its louder than my set up? i got videos on my channel.

No, it was DSMlink V2 and a GM MAF in blow through.
